If we are going to make a Gagaga deck and have it
be competitive, we need to make good cards that can
increase out chances of winning. Gagagabolt is one
such card as it is extremely versatile. The ability
to destroy any card on the field makes Gagagabolt
useful in almost any situation. The only thing that
would make this card better is to make it a quick
play spell card and send a card to the graveyard
instead of destroying it.
Currently there are two Gagaga monsters you can
use Gagagabolt on in Magician and Girl. Those two
names also appear in cards Yugi used. The Gagaga
monsters are used by Yuma in the new ZEXAL series.
Now that we have some color to our cards, I would
like to point out that Japan has another Gagaga
monster in Gardna. As I pointed out yesterday, it is
fairly easy to get a Gagaga monster to the field so
Gagagabolt is rarely a dead card in this deck type.
If you are running a Gagaga deck, you are going to
want to run 2 or 3 Gagagbolts as it is just that
good in this deck.

Day 2 of Card names you can't say 5 times real
fast week has us looking at support for yesterday's
Gagaga Girl, Gagagabolt. A simple effect, Gagagabolt
says If you control a face up Gagaga monster, target
one card on the field and destroy it. A fine support
card that reminds me of Thousand Knives for The Dark
Magician. Gagagabolt can wipe out any card, monster
or spell/trap to make way for attacks, Marshmellon
in your way, zap'em. Judgement Dragon staring you
down, hit it with this. A little afraid of that
possible face down Mirror Force? Get rid of it with
Gagagabolt. All you need is a Gagaga monster on your
field and one or two of these can open a direct
attack or two. A good support card for the Gagagas.

Gagagabolt
My computer has been screwy lately, which is why I'm
starting on Tuesday. I got stuff for
Monday too, so you can go
back to that.
Basically, you can blow up anything you want if you
have out Gagaga Magician, Gagaga Girl, or the
still-Japanese Gagaga Gardna. So it sounds like a
pretty amazing card...granted you have one of these
cards out. Aside from Gardna (a cross between Battle
Fader and Marshmallon), though, you probably don't
want to have your Gagaga monsters out on the field
for long.
Between their self-named support cards, the GGG's
have a lot of staying power, but the reliance of
having a GGG out on the field really kills this
card, especially considering the GGG's have no true
"boss monster" of their own.
Between three MST, three Smashing Ground, three of a
lot of other splashable cards...I really don't see
having the room to justify a slot for GGGbolt. It's
certainly a step up from Synchro Blast Wave or
Thousand Knives to be able to target S/T, but I'd
rather run Raigeki Break or even Nobleman of
Crossout over GGGbolt. It's just not worth using if
you don't intend to have a GGG consistently out on
your field. Unless you just don't have that many
splashable cards on hand or strongly believe in the
cause to having GGG's out on the field, I personally
don't recommend this card.
Niche Decks: Gagaga, if the archetype ever gets more
specific support
Traditional: 1/5
Advanced: 1.2/5 (if just to indicate it's slightly
better than tomorrow's card)
Aesthetics: 2/5 Reminds me a lot of Justi-Break.
