Normal Monster again? Wattaildragon, a Level 6,
Light attributed, Dragon Monster. This Dragon has
2500 attack and 1000 defense, and where else do we
go with this...works in Normal Decks, Beatdown
perhaps, Watt Decks I suppose, if only because of
the name. Capable of "indefinite" flight. I guess
meaning it can fly forever, but just because one is
capable, doesn't mean it does said thing. Capturing
this Monster is apparently illegal, specifically,
forbidden. By the "Ancient Rules" (a Magic card
capable of Special Summoning said Monster). Said
action is a Level 6 offense, also again, the Level
of the Monster. Capturing this Dragon receives a
sentence of imprisonment for no less than 2500
heliocylces. I'm not sure what the hell a
heliocycle is BUT "helio" refers to the sun. So a
sun cycle, would be a day, so 2500 days. Trap at
your own risk.
Ratings:
2/5 Unlike yesterday, where the Monster was
moderately splashable, despite being Normal, this
isn't the LOB days...

Today we are going to look at a key card in a
Hieratic deck. Even though it is a normal card,
Wattaildragon is very useful in summoning those
powerful rank 6 monsters like Photon Strike Bounzer,
Number 25: Force Focus, Hieratic Dragon King of Atum,
and Inzektor Exa-Bettle.
Even if you were to get Wattaildragon in your hand,
you are still in good shape as you can special
summon a Hieratic monster and then tribute it for
Wattaildragon to get another Wattaildragon to the
field with the tributed Hieratic monster to Xyz a
rank 6 monster. With 2500 attack, this level 6
monster is still a good beat stick to have on the
field.

Today we look at another Normal
monster, which has to be some kind of Pojo record of
two straight Normal monster reviews in a row.
Wattaildragon is a Level 6, Light/Dragon-Type, with
2500 ATK and 1000 DEF, and its flavor text breaks
the 4th wall of Yu-Gi-Oh! as well. Wattaildragon
could be used as a heavy hitter for the Watt
archtype, as it can be searched by Wattcobra and
special summoned by Wattdragonfly. Also, like
yesterdays's card, since it's Light and Normal, it
goes with all that good stuff as well. But it's a
Dragon-type too, that means it can be used in a
Hieratic deck as well as Dragons. 2500 ATK can get
over a lot, and makes it a bit hard to beat in
battle. Sometimes all you need is a big monster to
solve a few problems. Wattaildragon has a bit more
going for it than yesterday's card.

Today we are reviewing
Wattaildragon.
Light/ Dragon/ Lv 6/ 2500 ATK/
1000 DEF
This card is a bit odd, but
it’s useful in two decks. The first deck I’m going
to go over will be Watts. This archetype is very
underrated, and somewhat of a gimmick in today’s
meta. It is very slow, and combo oriented. What the
deck has going for it is that it is full of weenie
monsters that can attack directly, cause locks, have
tuners, and have searching cards. Wattcobra can
easily fetch this card from the deck to the hand and
Wattdragonfly has the ability to Special Summon a
2500 ATK beat stick onto the field. Also, Wattkey
allows any “WATT” monster to attack directly. All of
this is possible because of “Watt” in
Wattaildragon’s name.
Now, onto Heiratics. This card
is easily special summon-able because it is a level
6 NORMAL monster. Granted it’s ATK will be decreased
to 0, it provides for easy XYZ summon material. In
Heriatic Decks, you should only run 1 Wattaildragon
and 1 Luster Dragon #2 because they are both level 6
normal dragon types, but that isn’t the reason why.
The reason why you should run one of each is due to
the fact that a lot of players have “Chain
Disappearance” and can remove all copies of that
monster. So instead of removing both copies, you
have another monster to rely on just in case that
happens.
Pros: Versatile
Cons: (insert personal cons
here)
Advanced: 3/5 in Watts and
Heiratics.
Traditional: 1/5. These two
archetypes cannot survive here.

Hello. My computer is been having
quite severe problems lately.
Therefore, things have been really
glitchy, so I may be missing out on
some important notes about some
cards, but it should be fine. The
problems should be fixed within a
week. If you missed them, I have
given my analysis for Noble Knight
yesterday, as well as the last three
Hieratics from last week.
This is the fourth Normal Monster
we're doing this year, not to
mention we did Alexandrite Dragon
and Sabersaurus very late 2011. What
is UP with the world?
Hieratics and Rabbits, what up.
As I've mentioned before several
times over the last two weeks,
Wattaildragon is the most popular
Dragon to summon with the Hieratics'
swarming powers. This is due to it
being Level 6, meaning an easy Xyz
Summon into Atum, which gives you
Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, which
revives Wattaildragon to give you
entire bucketfuls of combinations.
Watttail is the Level 6 Normal
Dragon with the highest ATK, not to
mention being Light, but this mostly
doesn't matter as it is employed for
pretty much that one, important
purpose. Luster Dragon #2, the Level
6 Dragon with the second-highest
ATK, is also sometimes used for
backup.
Otherwise, I do concede that this
card IS a Watt monster, so I GUESS
it does get all the support from
that group... This deviates heavily
from the Watt strategy to use
Solidarity for very scary direct
attacks, however. Perhaps the most
potent strategy is using Dragonfly
to summon the strongest Watt monster
right out on the field, then using
Wattkey so that it can attack
directly...once.
Traditional: 2.5/5 (if only for its
role in Hieratics)
Advanced: 3.9/5
Aesthetics: 5/5 For those of you who
do not get the reference, Ancient
Rules is a Spell from all the way
back in the Strike of Neos set; it
lets you Special Summon a Normal
Monster out of your hand. It has a
picture of a Dragon on it,
previously thought to be Blue-Eyes,
but now it's clear it's this guy. I
can just picture this monster
getting Summoned, spiraling around
as it bursts out of a scroll of
paper, similar to the movie version
of
Harry Potter Apparating
or perhaps Shenron from
Dragon Ball. Just handle
with care, lest you be imprisoned
for 2500 heliocycles.

able to talk to each other?

Wattaildragon
Hey Duelists, Coming to you with today's COTD is
Team Sentinel's BlackMarketYuGiOh and Shad0wslayr.
Today we will be discussing Wattaildragon. Normal,
Dragon, Light, Level 6, 2500/1000.
Whaca be said about this card? Hieretics abuse the
crap outta this card due to their abilities and the
effect of King Atum. The Watt Archetype can abuse
this Card with the ability of "watt key". Making him
a double attacking BeastStick. nuff' said. He is the
highest attacking normal dragon out to date. So
kudos
