Today we get a rank 5 Xyz monster with a nice
effect. Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh may not be the best
rank 5 Xyz monster in the game but if you have room
for it with the ability to get level 5 monsters on
the field, then this monster is for you.
The first thing we notice about this card is that is
says to target 2 set cards on the field so there has
to be two set cards to activate its effect. One or
both of those cards could be yours, so if you have
effects that activate when a card is destroyed or
you just want to get rid of that one back row card
or possible Ryko, just set one of your own cards.
You could also use Book of Moon or Book of Eclipse
(before you summon your monsters) to get the set
cards you need.
The other thing we notice about this card is that it
is a machine with 2600 attack. That makes it very
useful with Limiter Removal to get to 5200 attack.
There are better options for rank 5 Xyz monsters,
but in the right situation, Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh
can mean the difference between winning and loosing.

Miguel
Thursday on another Wind-Up week and w're taking
a look at Wind-Up Zenmaioh. Zenmaioh is a Rank 5 Xyz
monster, thus needing two level 5 monsters. It's a
WIND/Machine type with 2600 ATK and 1900 DEF. The
stats, very solid and can run over almost all the
used monsters from Stardust, Monarchs, and almost
all other Xyzs. Its effect is a good one. Once per
turn you can detach one Xyz material from Zenmaioh
to target 2 set cards on the field, and destroy
them. Book of Moon is very helpful here. Being able
to wipeout 2 of your opponent's set cards is good,
not having to worry about set monsters with nasty
flip effects, or those set spell/trap cards. Need
two level 5 monsters? Wind-ups Dog and Soldier can
make it happen. Also Cyber Dragon and The Tricky can
do the trick as well. #PlayOnWords. While it's not a
popular as Zenmaity, Zenmaioh is stronger and can
clean a field of your opponent's cards. I like it.

Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh

"2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from
this card to target 2 Set cards on the field;
destroy them."
FINALLY! A W-U that can be splashed into any
deck, so long as you can get 2 Lv. 5 monsters on the
field at the same time.
W-U Arsenal Zenmaioh has a very useful effect, as
it can destroy S/Ts and Monsters, so long as they're
facedown. Combo-ing this with Swords of Concealing
Light can really hose over the opponent. He also
works well against an opponent who likes to use a
good number of traps and set Spells. His stats are
fairly good as well, so you can make him serve as
the muscle of the W-U deck.
He's highly useful and I wouldn't be surprised to
see him splashed into the extra deck of non W-Us.

Philosophical
Psycho
Spring Disguised Attacker Zenmaioh!
A Rank 5 Xyz is not an easy task, a feat usually
only accomplished in the average Deck with a
combination of Cyber Dragon and Monster Reborn. I
also would like to stress that having "Wind-Up" in
its name has limited significant value outside of
activating Factory of Zenmaighty, as oftentimes
other Wind-Up support cards go unused.
As splashable as this Power Ranger is and as
unlikely as you will be exploiting the "Wind-Up" in
its name, I'm not denying that compared to the other
Rank 5 Xyzs, it certainly has a high destructive
power. Wind-Ups do not have difficulty to Summon
this, and they will definitely be running it
alongside other Rank 5 Xyzs. This is the Wind-Ups'
brawniest attacker and is their tool to eradicate
any face-downs you have. It's a liability that is
says exactly 2 facedowns
It's not easy to Summon, but when you can do it, you
won't be disappointed. And Wind-Ups can play this
down more easily that other Decks.
Traditional: 2/5

Aesthetics: 3/5 Shiny card art and pretty colours
hurt my eyes!! DX But I suppose it's a reference to
how it's the real boss monster of the Wind-Ups; you
can see how it has components from the other three
WU Xyzs. Oh, oh, oh if Tori from the anime/manga
were to Duel, she should TOTALLY use the Wind-Ups.
Number 88 can be a Wind-Up and then Yuma, Tori, and
Kite would have this epic three-way [Duel].
Philosophy Corner: Why should you do it? Because you
want to. Why would you do it? Because you can.

Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh, continues in the line
of Wind-Up XYZ Monsters. This is a Rank 5 XYZ
Monster, XYZ Summoned with two Level 5 Monsters.
Also a Wind Monster, with 2600 attack, and 1900
defense. Now obviously we have a wide arsenal of
cards that can change the Level of a Monster
requiring you not to actually use Level 5 Monsters.
As for what this guy does...by detaching an XYZ
Material from this card, you can destroy two set
cards on the Field. Interesting here with this
Monster it HAS to be two cards, not up to two. So
that gives your opponent a way to work around this.
So your opponent could set just ONE card and know
you can't destroy it. However, this Monster lets
you destroy ANY set cards, as long as its
two...yours or your opponent's, so maybe the power
still lies in your Hand. More often than not you
obviously don't want to go around destroying your
own cards, I'm merely stating you have said option.
