As referred to yesterday, we look an XYZ Monster in Empress of Prophecy.  This is a Rank 5, Light attributed XYZ Monster, with 2000 attack and 1700 defense, who is XYZ Summoned with two Level 5 Spellcaster Monsters.  Our Empress gains 300 attack for each XYZ Material attached, so she comes out with 2600 attack instead of her base 2000, which is good.  Her name fits her very well, by discarding an XYZ Material, (lowering her attack to 2300, and then back to 2000 if you are able to use the effect twice) but by her effect lets you reveal the top 5 cards of your Deck, and you can destroy Monsters on the Field up to the number of Spellbook Magic cards you reveal.  Also, you can return the cards back to your Deck in any order.  That's certainly a plus, I'd give her a shot in your Spellbook Deck, maybe even in just a Spellcaster Deck.

Empress of Prophecy is an interesting Xyz monster for Spellbook decks. It has the ability to destroy as many monsters on the field as Spellbooks you reveal from the top five cards in your deck. Sense you are playing tons of Spellbooks; the likely hood that you will reveal at least one Spellbook is pretty high. Not only that, but then you get to rearrange those five cards in any order you wish. That is an amazing effect in itself. Granted, you will probably only get to draw the top card before you shuffle your deck again, as Spellbook decks are constantly searching for Spellbooks, but it is still an awesome effect.

Getting level 5 monsters to the field to summon Empress of Prophecy is what Spellbook/Prophecy decks do best. You can use yesterday’s card, Justice of Prophecy to search for High Priestess of Prophecy and special summon her to the field. You can also use Hermit of Prophecy or Temperance of Prophecy. Then special summon a Spellcaster with Spellbook of Life using a level 2 and 3 monster.

Getting Emperor of Prophecy and /or High Priestess of Prophecy on the field is easy in a Spellbook deck. Then use their effects and then Xyz summon Empress of Prophecy and use her effects. Even if you do not use Empress’s effect, you still have at least a 2600 attack monster. More if you have other Xyz monsters with materials on the field. If you took your opponent’s Xyz monster with Emperor, that will give you a pretty powerful punch.

Empress of Prophecy is one of those cards that when you really sit and look at it, you're like whoa, how did I not see this one before? Her Highness is a Rank 5 LIGHT/Spellcaster-type Xyz monster with 2000 ATK and 1700 DEF, and requires 2 level 5 Spellcasters to Xyz summon.

This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz material attached to a monster you control. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz material from this card; shuffle your deck then reveal the top 5 cards of your deck, and destroy monsters on the field up to the number of Spellbook spell cards revealed, then return the revealed cards to the top of the deck in any order.

This cards has a lot going for it. Two level 5 Spellcasters are as easy as The Tricky and Gagaga Magician. There are others, but those two are perhaps the easiest to just do. While its 2000 ATK may seem low for a Rank 5 monster, it goes up 300 for each Xyz material still attached to any other Xyz monster you control. So if you have like, for example, Thunder Spark Dragon on the field, that alone is an extra 900 ATK, along with the 600 Empress gets for her materials. Ovelay Regen can get you either an extra 300 ATK, or another chance for her effect. Being a LIGHT spellcaster is good too, as it works with Honest and can be used for the Chaos equation. Empress' effect is very good in the Spellbook/Prophecy deck, as once a turn you can detach a Xyz material to shuffle your deck, and reveal the top 5 cards. Any Spellbook spell cards shown through this lets you destroy up to as many monsters on the field. Then you get to put those 5 cards back on your deck, in any order you want. While destroying monsters is always good, legal deck manipulation is just as welcome in my book. You get all this awesomeness wrapped in a great looking card. If you are using the Spellbook deck, you should be using this as well.
