Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis is a Rank 6 (XYZ
Summoned via two Level 6 Monsters) XYZ Monsters, of
the Light attribute, and a Machine, although I kinda
feel it should be a Rock. 2600 attack is fantastic
for Rank 6, and the 3000 defense is rather
impressive too. This guy has an effect vaguely
resembling Destiny Hero-Dogma, but more on that in a
bit. So when you XYZ Summon Number 6, you can target
and select a Number XYZ Monster in your Graveyard,
and equip it to this card. Number 6 gains attack
equal to half the attack of the equipped Monster.
That, in itself, might not warrant playing this
card, but I think the second effect is the money
one. Now, if I read the rest of this correctly, you
can detach another XYZ Material, to discard the
Material equipped via its own effect, to halve your
opponent's Lifepoints. You have to give up a Battle
Phase to do it, but if you're doing this early game
say 6000-8000 Lifepoints that's enormous. One Battle
Phase is nothing, even in mid game at say 3000-5000
Lifepoints. Late game that effect is about garbage,
but I like Chronomaly. This is one of the more
interesting XYZ Monsters in the game.

you can pull off with that effect, even via Burn and
not being able to Battle.

Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis is one of those
cards that makes you think about using it or even
making a Chronomaly deck. A LIGHT/Machine-Type Xyz
monster with the ironic rank of 6, needing 2 level 6
monsters to Xyz summon. With the beefy stats of 2600
ATK and 3000 DEF, he's a big wall to climb.
When this card is Xyz summoned: You can target one
"Number" card in your graveyard: equip that target
to this card. This card gains ATK equal to half of
that ATK of the equipped monster. Once per turn: You
can detach one Xyz material from this card to send
the monster equipped to this card by this effect to
the graveyard; halve your opponent's life points.
You cannot conduct your battle phase the turn you
activate this effect.
With everyone running 2 Solemn Warnings and 1 Solemn
Judgment, sometimes they run through their life
points just paying for these cards' effect. Atlandis
can make that even closer to 0 and then sending in a
few other monsters to finish off your opponent. 2
level 6 monsters are as easy as The Gagaga duo doing
their thing. Hieratics can get level 6 monsters with
ease these days. Need a Number card in the grave?
Gale Dogra can get you that for the cost of a mere
3000 LP. *Don't look at me like that, some of you
used to pay 5000 LP to special summon a monster from
your extra deck with Cyber-Stein.* I think this card
is worth trying out in testings and casual play. See
how it works and then judge for yourself.

Tomorrow: 5 Xyz materials? How shocking!

Another Number card, this time one that's
designed to work with other Number cards. While
getting two Lv 6 monsters into play is a little
tricky, it's far from impossible. It helps that
there's no other restrictions on this guy is a big
help. As for his stats, 2600A is pretty fair for a
monster of Rk 6 and his effect can pump him up
further still. His Def stat is very good, so you can
make him into a wall to protect you, although that
makes him a prime canidate for Smashing ground.
Being able to reduce your opponent's LP by half is a
huge ability and can really hit them hard in the
early game, but this effect most likely won't see
play until the mid to late game. Still, every bit
helps and in the right build, this guy can be a
monster. If you plan to use him for his effect, I
would recommend an effect damage-based deck to get
around the loss of the Battle Phase.
