Psychics get their own Xyz monster in the form of
Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut. A light monster
with 2100 attack has some possibilities, but not
much. Honest is as option unless you are playing a
Psychic deck which does not have light Psychics.
However, if you are running a Chaos deck, Chronomaly
Crystal may be a good fit. By summoning Tour Guide
and using its effect to summon this card, you have
your light and dark monsters for Lightpulsar,
Darkflare, Chaos Sorcerer, and BLS with just one
card.
In a Psychic deck, Crystal Chrononaut can be used
with cards like Psychic Lifetrancer, Psychic
Overload, Psychic Sword, and Psychic Trigger. Once
you use up your Xyz material, you can even use
Psychic Jumper to switch control of it with a more
powerful monster your opponent controls. The nice
thing about Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut is that it
can protect itself from attacks for 2 turns. It can
also protect itself from Catastor.
The bad thing about Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut,
besides its low attack, is that it only protects
itself from destruction when it is attacked,. If you
attack or your opponent activates a destruction card
that is not in response to their attack, then it can
not save itself from destruction.
The part where your opponent takes damage is just OK
as they will usually find a way around it. All in
all, this card is not bad, it is just not great as
there are much better Rank 3 monsters. Still,
Psychic and Chaos decks may find a use for
Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut.

Miguel
Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut is a interesting
monster. A rank 3 LIGHT/Psychic Xyz, and needs any 2
level 3 monsters. This monster stands in with 2100
ATK and 1000 DEF, which aren't the best, but not the
worst.
Once per turn, when this card is targeted for an
attack: You can detach one Xyz material from this
card; this turn, this card cannot be destroyed by
battle or card effects, also your opponent takes any
battle damage you would take from battles involving
this card.
I would rank this card along side yesterday's card,
as a card with decent stats and an ok effect. The
high points of this card is how easy it is to Xyz
summon, and it might make your opponent think twice
about attacking especially if they are running low
on LPs. Overall, not a bad card, but its uses are
situational if you want to use Chrononaut to its
fullest. On a side note, it is a LIGHT monster, so
using Honest might surprise your opponent.

Tomorrow: A flying castle?
All righty, silly Dark Paladin did today's card
yesterday, so you get yesterday's card tomorrow, ie
today. Sorry about that folks. Chronomaly Crystal
Chrononaut (again if that was too hard to follow,
today's CotD is on yesterday, and this review is for
yesterday, apologies again).
This is a Rank 3 XYZ Monster, XYZ Summoned with two
Level 3 Monsters. This is a Light attributed
Monster, incredibly well supported, and Chaos food,
and has 2100 attack. Not overly impressive, but not
bad for a Rank 3 XYZ, although the 1000 defense
leaves something to be desired. C3 as I've dubbed
him for the review, is also a Psychic, a Decktype
(in various forms) I feel to be underrated and
under-appreciated. So, as for effects, if you
discard an XYZ Material Monster, C3 cannot be
destroyed by Battle OR by Effects. Superb, aside
from the whole "must be targeted for an attack"
disclaimer. In addition to that, any Battle Damage
you would take from a Battle involving C3 via the
effect here, is dealt to your opponent. The
stipulation seems unnecessary, and the latter effect
doesn't seem all that game breaking either. Might
be worth while in Psychics, maybe not.
