Gear Gigant X, is the best XYZ Monster for a
specific type, specifically Machines, and its own
Deck, Geargia. It's ridiculous support, but
necessary for an Archtype that doesn't have a great
deal of things going for it. This is a Rank 4,
Earth type, XYZ Monster, with a lower attack at 2300
and an equally low defense at only 1500. But it has
a couple of rather nifty effects. First, you can
detach an XYZ Material from this Monster, you can
add a Level 4 or lower Machine type Monster from
your Deck OR Graveyard to your Hand. In addition to
that, when this card leaves the Field, regardless of
how, by who, or where it goes, you can target a
Level 3 or lower Geargia Monster from your
Graveyard, and Special Summon it. Again, this is
incredible support, my only problems are the low
attack and defense for a Rank 4, and the fact that
the second effect HAS to be Level 3 or lower and
MUST be a Geargia card, instead of any Machine, like
the first effect.

At the top of our list we have Gear Gigant X, a
machine with a nasty disposition. All we need to
summon this monster is 2 level 4 Machines. Once
summoned, we can fetch a level 4 or lower machine
monster from our deck, thus turning two monsters
back into at least two more monsters. If you are
playing Gadgets or Machinas, this card is a must as
you can use its effect to search for another Gadget
or Machina Gearframe for even more pluses.
Gear Gigant X is beast used in a Geargia deck to
take advantage of its effect to special summon a
level 3 or lower Geargia monster from your
graveyard. Currently we have two level 3 Geargia
monsters in Geargiano and Geargiano Mk-II. Both of
which can get you a level 4 Geargia monster to the
field. Then summon another to special summon another
Gear Gigant X. Here is how it works. Once your first
Gear Gigant X hits the field, as long as you have
Geargiano in your graveyard you can special summon
it when your X leaves the field. Then on your turn,
tribute Geargiano to special summon a level 4
Geargiano and normal summon a level 4 Machine (that
you got with Gear Gigant) to start the process all
over again. And the hits keep coming.
Let’s take a look at some other cards that you can
grab from your deck using Gear Gigant X’s effect:
Meklord Emperors, Karakuri monsters, Morphtronic
monsters, Genex monsters, Cardcar D, Kinetic
Soldier, and Swift Scarecrow. That should give you
some more ideas on deck building. With 2300 attack,
Gear Gigant X will need to be protected so having
cards like Limiter Removal (A must for Machines),
Forbidden Lance, and Solidarity would be a good
choice, especially if you want to use its search
effect for a second time.
Gear Gigant X is a big boost to Machine decks. One
other thing I would like to note is that most
machines and all of the Geargia monsters are Earth,
so playing Grandsoil the Elemental Lord in a deck
with Gear Giant X makes a lot of sense. The best
Machine deck topping tournaments today is a
Karakuri/Geargia deck with Watchdog and Strategist
and all three Level 4 Geargia’s; Armor, Accelerator,
and Arsenal.

Hello and welcome to our Number 1 card from the
newest set! Seriously folks, this card has been in
the top spots left and right at regionals and YCS
all over the place since it was released. Shame on
you if you didn't think this would be on here!
Anyways, Gear Gigant X (AKA the BLUE GADGET)
Earth/Machine/Rank 4/ 2300 ATK/ 1500 DEF
2 Level 4 Machine-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from
this card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Machine-Type
monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.
When this card leaves the field: You can target 1
Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster in your
Graveyard; Special Summon that target.
This card can easily be splashed into different
machine decks becuase of it's versatility. It's been
seen in Gadget decks, Machina variants, and Karakuri
monsters/synchros have been seen in hte mix too.
It's arsenal of geargia cards in this new set have
been a force to reckon with becuase of their speed.
It's effect makes this card really good. You can
detach 1 card from it to either search a machine
from your deck or graveyard. It's like Reinforcement
of the Army or The Warrior Returning Alive, but for
machines! Regardless, this card will most likely
deck thin into a geargia monster that looks like a
racecar (can't really remember the name
geargaccelerator or something like that). Point is,
this card is great and splashable in any machine
deck's extra deck.
Pros: Reinforcement of the Army or The Warrior
Returning Alive for machines.
Cons: It's stats aren't the best. 2300 ATK isn't
exactly the best for a rank 4 Blue Gadget and its
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon fodder waiting to
happen.

Gear Giant X
A searcher for your more commonly played machines
(Gadgets/Karakuri/Geargias). Its a welcome addition
to any sort of machine deck, and its secondary
effect being exclusive to a deck type will keep it
from being too overpowered. Will be interesting to
see if this card can put any decks over the top,
time will tell

Today, we stand on the top of the mountain. We
climbed over ten of the best cards Return of the
Duelist had to offer and we now look at the Number 1
card, Gear Gigant X. A Rank 4 Xyz, and is a
EARTH/Machine-Type and needs two level 4
Machine-Type monsters to Xyz summon. With 2300 ATK
and 1500 DEF, he can hold his own against most
monsters. But his effect, oh man, his effect.
Once per turn; You can detach one Xyz Material from
this card, add 1 level 4 or lower Machine-Type
monster from your deck or graveyard to your hand.
When this card leaves the field; You can target 1
level 3 or lower Geargia monster in your graveyard,
special summon that target.
Gadget players, rejoice. The big bad boss monster
you've been wanting has arrived. Get all those
Gadgets out and you can get 2-3 GGXs. Morphtronics
can benefit as well because GGX can search out any
Morphtronic monster. Rescue Rabbit can get you 2
Mechanical Chasers for a quick Xyz summon of GGX.
You can toss in a few Geargia monsters to fully get
the GGX experience, because if he leaves the field
for any reason, and reason at all, destroyed,
banished....you can special summon a level 3 or
lower Geargia monster from your graveyard. Also, if
you want to keep on using GGX's effect, Overlay
Regen can get you another Machine-Type monster. This
card comes in at number 1 and for good reason, it
takes Machines and even the Geargia archtype to a
new level.
