 | Tuesday Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon is another long
named Water Monster. This is a Level 8, Water
attributed, Fish Monster, with an excellent 2900
attack and a not so great 1300 defense. Let me start
by saying that Level 8 really hurts Water Monsters,
at least in terms of Summoning. A Level 7 Water
Monster still requires two tributes, BUT, IF you're
playing A Legendary Ocean in your Water Deck, which
isn't a necessity, but IF you are, a Level 7 Monster
becomes Level 6 and only requires one tribute. Level
8 becomes Level 7 and still requires two tributes.
Now, when HASM (as I'll refer to him for the rest of
the review) inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent,
you can target and destroy another Monster your
opponent controls. Note there's an option, so you
don't have to if you choose not to. With 2900
attack, you're likely to get the effect sometimes.
There seem to be more and more Water Monsters all
the time, and to that point, more high level ones
with various effects. I'd consider this guy to be
not that bad, but with Mermails being the Water Deck
to beat, I'm not sure you have room for this guy.

 | Welcome to another card of the day review about
cards from the Cosmo Blazer booster. Here we have a
monster that may not seem like a very good card
right now but will it be better in the future? Hyper-Ancient Shark MegalodonAttribute-Water
 Type-Fish/Effect
 Level 8
When this card inflicts battle damage to your
opponent: You can target 1 monster your opponent
							controls; destroy that target.
 ATK/2900 DEF/1300
So this monster has a really nice effect with a
high attack power. It is a good monster that is
level 8 so it can be used for trade-in. So why don’t
people really play this monster? Realistically,
there aren’t many ways to easily summon it. It needs
two tributes to normal summon. You could run this
monster in a deck with Genex Undine, Call of the
Haunted and other monster revival cards. Genex
Controller would be able to pitch Megalodon and then
it can be special summoned back with Call of the
Haunted. This would probably never be a competitive
deck but it can be a good fun deck. This card would
be better if it required only one tribute to summon
but it is just way too slow to be played
competitively. Advanced: 1.5/5-It is just way too slow right now. In the future
this card may become better, but right now it’s just
							not good.
Traditional: 1/5 Art: 5/5-Very nice art. It looks menacing and cool looking
							at the same time.

 | Hyper-Ancient Shark MegalodonWater/Fish/Effect/Level8/2900/1300
You can Tribute Summon this card by Tributing 1
WATER monster. When this card inflicts Battle Damage
to your opponent: You can destroy all monsters your
opponent controls whose ATK is equal to or less than
the amount of Battle Damage inflicted.

Next up is Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon, another in
the long line of recent powerful Water monsters.
First off Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon though a
level 8 has the important alternative summoning
method that is now essential for high level tribute
monsters and in this case he can be tribute summoned
using just 1 Water monster. So far so good.

His main effect is that if he inflicts battle damage
you can destroy all monster your opponent controls
whose ATK is less than or equal to the damage
inflicted. On the plus side he has the ATK (2900) to
use his effect, however unless you either do a lot
of battle damage or your opponent has a lot of weak
monsters you aren’t going to see many destroyed
							monsters.
Overall a decent Water monster but there are better
							fish in the sea.
