Lady of the Lake, despite practically only
supporting the Knights theme, is a bit of an oddity.
With a grab bag of effects, and being a Light
attributed, Aqua Monster, and with only 200 attack
(but a nice 1800 defense) for a Level 1, she's a bit
of a mystery. She's also a Tuner, and can only be
used to Synchro Summon a Warrior type Monster. If
you use her to Synchro Summon, she's removed from
play. If you Normal Summon her, you can Target and
Special Summon a Noble Knight from your Graveyard,
so long as it's a Normal Monster. If she's in the
Graveyard, you can target a Noble Knight you
control, and reduce it's Level by 1, and if
successful, you Special Summon her from the
Graveyard. She's actually more useful than she may
originally seem. She's obviously a combo card, and
however/whatever you're using her for, she should
generate you an advantage.

Lady of the Lake gives Noble Knight Decks the
ability to Synchro summon. As we have already seen,
the Noble Knight theme can summon Rank 4 or 5 Xyz
monsters quite easily. With Lady of the Lake, we can
summon Level 5 and 6 Synchro monsters. The Lady in
Noble decks can do some really cool Synchro
summoning.
You can get Lady of the Lake in the graveyard or on
the field by using One-For-One or Foolish Burial. As
we discussed last week, we have two Noble Knight
Monsters that become level 5 monsters when attached
with a Noble Arms card, Medraut and Borz. If you do
the Medraut play with Borz you will wind up with two
level 5 monsters on the field. At this point you
could go into one of the Artorigus Xyz monsters or
we could Synchro for tomorrow’s card, Ignoble Knight
of High Laundsallyn. If we have Imperial Iron Wall
in play or another Lady of the Lake in the grave, we
could Synchro for a T.G. Hyper Librarian first then
the Ignoble Knight to end up with two level 5
monsters which we could also Xyz summon with and an
extra card in hand.
As you can see, Lady of the Lake gives us a Synchro
ability to add to the Xyz ability it already has.
Lady has another effect that works well with Noble
Knight Artorigus, so you could play them in a deck
with Rescue Rabbit to give you more options and
synergy. In the end, though, we are still dealing
with combos and equip cards. As a fun deck to play
at locals I would recommend building this deck,
however at the YCS level, you may want to stick with
a more explosive deck, even though Dragon decks have
been severely crippled by the last restricted list.

Lady of the Lake
LIGHT/Aqua/Tuner/Level 1/200/1800
Cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except
for the Synchro Summon of a Warrior-Type monster. If
this card is used for a Synchro Summon, banish it.
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1
"Noble Knight" Normal Monster in your Graveyard;
Special Summon that target. If this card is in your
Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 5 "Noble Knight"
monster you control; reduce its Level by 1, and if
you do, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.
A short week of new cards before we start the top 10
cards of 2013 hopefully on Wednesday. Today we look
at Lady of the Lake, a tuner for Warriors but it is
really for Noble Knights.
Statwise, it is LIGHT/Aqua which is a strange
combination but it is still LIGHT like many of the
Noble Knights so ir does help. 200 ATK isn’t great
but this is a level 1 Tuner so it isn’t supposed to
be on the field for too long. 1800 DEF though is
quite good for a level 1.
Lady of the Lake has a condition that she can only
be used as Synchro material for a Warrior Synchro
Monster. Also if this is used for a Synchro Summon
it is banished, just so you can’t use its Graveyard
revival effect over and over again.
Lady of the Lake’s main effect both involve special
summoning monsters in your graveyard. Either you
special summon a Noble Knight when this is normal
summoned or you can special summon this card if you
controi a level 5 Noble Knight. Either way both
effects scream; “Use this card for get out Ignoble
Knight of High Laundsallyn”, which to be honest is
the only real reason you would play this card.
Overall if you are playing Ignoble Knight of
High Laundsallyn then this is a must for your deck.
If you are not, don’t bother.

Hey Guys today we are going to be doing Lady of
the Lake a disappointing card out of Shadow
Specters. Lady of the Lake is another failed attempt
at Konami trying to make Noble Knights competitive.
While it's effect in text not only makes it a junk
synchron and a level eater it just seems to not have
synergy needed for a deck that requires equip spell
cards to operate. There are a couple of good plays
using this card, but one has to remember; You can
only use it for a synchro summon of a warrior type
monster so it is extremely limited to how many plays
you can make with this card.

Lady of the Lake
Howdy there, sorry for not doing last weeks been
working so much this Christmas season, back to it
then, today's card is Lady of the Lake, what is
there to say she is probably the most popular card
from Shadow Specter, the support going into Noble
Knights is quite ludicrous. Though it is well
received, I believe the archetype is quite fun and I
really enjoy the flow of the deck. Reminds me of the
good ole days of Warrior Tool Box, sort of. She
straight out makes plays and allows Nobles to go
both Synchro/XYZ paths, it will be interesting to
see if she makes Nobles more competitive next year.
Traditional: 1/5 (Honestly don't know how well
Nobles could do here)
Advanced 4/5 (2 Different routes to pull out a
Synchro, she is a without a doubt a bad ass)
Art: 5/5 Gorgeous, nuff said.

Welcome back from the weekend everyone. We
continue our coverage of the new Noble Knight cards
today with their tuner, Lady of the Lake.
This card is pretty decent, with two ways to bring
out your Synchro monsters. First you can just
normal summon her, letting you special summon your
vanilla Artorigus from the grave for an instant
synchro. Alternatively, you can summon her from the
grave when you control a level 5 or higher Noble
Knight monster, reducing that monster's level by 1
(and putting it at level 4, since there are none
higher than 5), allowing you an instant synchro
summon that way. Regardless of how you do it, after
she does your tuning, she leaves the game.
Now, the downsides: first, she can only summon
warrior XYZ monsters. Your top 3 choices are pf
course the Noble Knight synchro, X-Saber Wayne, and
Scarred Warrior. Don't use Scarred Warrior; Ignoble
Knight is a way better monster. Wayne isn't too
bad, he can set you up for a game-finishing move in
the right situation. Generally though you'll want
to get your Ignoble Knight set up and rolling as
fast as you can.
Second, her stats are mediocre. 200 ATK isn't going
to win any battles, though at least the 1800 DEF can
hold up to a reasonable amount of monsters. If you
have to play her without syncing, just set her and
be patient.
So how to use this? My personal preference is to
Foolish Burial my Artorigus to the grave, then just
summon him back out with the Lady. However, the
same play works if you have a Medraut or Borz on
hand; Foolish the Lady, then revive her after you
use Borz or Medraut's effect to gain as much
advantage as possible.
And that's about all there is to it. This card,
like any good Tuner, is an enabler; she won't impact
the game much directly with her own effect. It's
the end-state that matters. We'll cover the Ignoble
Knight card tomorrow, the real powerhouse that makes
this card worth playing.

Lady of the Lake
This is theme specific support & helps support that
theme. I don't really see any rating for this card
outside of a deck that doesn't take advantage of its
ability to plus one off a normal Noble Knight
monster. With cards like Plaguespreader Zombie &
Dragunity Phalanx doing the tuner thing better, I
don't even see a reason to attempt to splash this
card into other synchro orientated decks.
