The best Vampire support card from Shadow
Specters...PERIOD. And the list of small yet
legitimate and playable Field Magic Cards increases
with Vampire Kingdom. This is a great card to play
in a theme Deck. All Zombies (yours and your
opponent's, and I like it's Zombies, not just
Vampires) gain 500 attack, but only during Damage
Calculation (either, mind you).
Additionally, once a turn when a card is sent from
your opponent's Deck to their Graveyard, you can
send a Dark Vampire from your Deck to the Graveyard
to target and destroy one card on the Field. That's
beautiful, being able to speed along your own Deck
while destroying something else on the Field. It's
a very well balanced 1-for-1 that likely ends up
leading to more. I know it's usually overall not
worthwhile to put a Field Magic Card in a Deck but
I'd seriously use this in your Vampire Deck.

Today we are going to review the other reason for
running a Zombie/Vampire deck. Vampire Kingdom is a
very powerful and key card for the new Vampire
theme. It does everything you need it to do to gain
advantage against your opponent. It has three
effects which are very useful in defeating your
opponent.
The first effect gives all Vampires on the field a
500 attack bonus during damage calculation. This
means that you’re Vampire Duke and Shadow Vampire
will become a respectable 2500 attack while your
boss monster, Crimson Knight Vampire Bram, will
become a beastly 3000 attack.
The second effect does two great things for you.
First, it sends one of your Dark Vampire monsters to
your grave from your hand or deck when a card is
sent to your opponent’s grave from the deck. That is
a great way to get your Vampire Sorcerer in the
grave so you can easily summon Shadow Vampire and
Vampire Duke. You can also ditch Vampire Duke and
use Book of Life or Call of the Haunted to resurrect
it and get its effect. The other part of this second
effect is to destroy a card on the field giving you
card advantage.
Vampire Kingdom has one other hidden effect that
makes it a good card in this format. It gets rid of
your opponent’s field spell cards, so decks like
Dark World, Dragunity Dragons, and Gravekeepers are
all hurt by this card. There are tons of ways to get
Vampire Kingdom on the field. Cards like Vampire
Sorcerer, Vampire Takeover, Demise of the Land, and
Terraforming will get Vampire Kingdom to the field
fast.
There is one other nice little tidbit about Vampire
Kingdom that I would like to point out. It activates
once per each players turn so you can destroy a
monster on your turn then Call of the Haunted Duke
on your opponents turn to destroy another card. You
can also use Gravekeeper’s Servant so if your
opponent attacks you, they will be destroying one of
their cards. Also, if they use Foolish Burial or
mill a card with a Lightswarm monster or Card
Trooper, they will be putting their cards at risk.
Just be careful because if they Foolish Burial and
have no cards on the field, you will have to destroy
one of your cards.

Vampire Kingdom
Field Spell
Zombie-Type monsters gain 500 ATK during damage
calculation only. Once per turn, when a card(s) is
sent from your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard:
Target 1 card on the field; send 1 DARK "Vampire"
monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, and
if you do, destroy that target.
Next up we have Vampire Kingdom a new field card
from Zombies, though I’m still waiting for them to
call a field card Castlevania. Vampire Kingdom gives
all Zombie monsters a 500 ATK boost but only during
damage calculation. 500 ATK is a good ATK boost;
just remember it affects all Zombies including your
opponent’s so it can be a double edged sword.
Its second effect activates when a card/cards go
from your opponent’s deck to the graveyard. If they
do you target a card on the field and by sending a
DARK “Vampire” to the grave you card destroy that
target. This effect as quite a few things
going for it, first of all, it doesn’t matter how
the card goes from the deck to the grave; so it
makes activating this effect easier. Secondly your
Vampire can be sent from either hand or deck which
makes this effect again easier to use. However it is
mandatory so you could end up destroying your own
cards if the opponent doesn’t have anything.
Overall a decent card but both effects are double
edged swords, you might want to be careful when
playing it.

Hey guys today we are going to be doing another
Vampire card: Vampire Empire a very interesting
field spell for the Vampire Archetype. First all
Zombie monsters gain 500 atk, but only during damage
calculation.
This allows for all of 2000 atk Vampire monsters.
(Which are most of the good ones) to finally get
over that attack barrier. The next effect is if a
card is sent from your opponents deck to the
graveyard you can send a Vampire monster from your
hand to the graveyard to destroy one card on the
field. This card sets up some crazy combos with
Vampire Duke, Vampire Lord, and just about all of
the zombie monsters you have in your arsenal. Good
job Konami on some balanced field spell support.

Hello Pojo Fans,
We continue with the slew of Vampire cards this week
with their signature Field Spell: Vampire Kingdom.
As mentioned, it's a Field Spell and effect as
follows: Zombie-Type monsters gain 500 ATK during
damage calculation only. Once per turn, when a
card(s) is sent from your opponent's Deck to the
Graveyard: Target 1 card on the field; send 1 DARK
"Vampire" monster from your hand or Deck to the
Graveyard, and if you do, destroy that target.
Vampire Kingdom does a lot, and that off the bat is
good for a Field Spell card. 500 ATK gain during
damage calculation for Zombie-Type monsters and not
only “Vampire” monsters is a plus. A Vampire Deck
will be packing Plaguespreader Zombie, Mezuki,
Zombie Master and Pyramid Turtle (depending on the
build). Having that attack gain happen during either
players turn is another plus. Having a card being
sent from your opponents Deck to the Graveyard isn't
hard to do with the new Vampire monsters. Special
Summon Vampire Duke, his second effect activates,
forcing a discard from the opponents Deck, which
then triggers Vampire Kingdom. Vampire Kingdom can
disrupt decks like like Lightsworn and Dragon Ruler,
both decks send cards to their Graveyards regularly.
Sending 1 DARK “Vampire” monster to the Graveyard
from your Hand or Deck can help out set up combos.
Vampire Sorcerer is a prime target to send from the
Deck to the Graveyard.
Any Spell/Trap card that stays on the field is
vulnerable to being destroyed before an advantage is
gained. Only being able to activate the effect to
target and eventually destroy a card on the field
once per turn hurts setting up combos that would
normally activate this cards effect of destroying a
card on the field. Your opponent also has the
ability to send a card from their Deck to the
Graveyard and force the activation of Vampire
Kingdom and potentially force you to destroy one of
your own cards. Being restricted to discarding a
“Vampire” monster prevents you from putting Mezuki
or another Zombie in the Graveyard that could be
helpful. At times you also don't want to deplete the
resources in your Deck for monster effects to target
(Pyramid Turtle, Shadow Vampire), and hand presence
is most of the time important.
Traditional-1/5- Only works in a Vampire Deck, and
Advanced- 2.5/5- Vampire Deck, better with no Heavy,
Trunade, Feather Duster, but could be better
Art- 4/5- I love the beauty of the artwork. The show
version of this card has a better effect and equally
good artwork.

Vampire Kingdom
Vampire Kingdom will never find its place in a
dragunity deck or really any deck that doesn't run
zombies/vampires. As far as field cards go, this has
a lot of potential. It allows for searching/deck
manipulation and it provides a means to generate
card advantage while functioning as a toolbox
capable of removing threats. Obviously if you're not
running any cards to mill your opponent's deck this
card is pointless. It is an interesting card, does
provide a stat increase, is decent theme support but
I don't like the fact my opponent gets the stat
increase if I'm in a mirror match nore do I like the
fact you have to send a card from your opponents
deck to the graveyard to use its effects. I don't
like this condition because it makes this card, a
field card which means it is an inherit 'minus one'
depended on another card's effect resolving to serve
any kind of purpose. If you really need to send a
Vampire to the graveyard, cards like Foolish Burial,
Lightsworn support, Card Trooper, Magical Merchant,
and a plethora of others do that job much more
efficiently with less set up. There is some
potential here but I don't like cards that require
set ups to function unless their effect literally
makes an opponent hate you.
