Brotherhood of the Fire Fist-Raven, is similar to
yesterdays card, at least in terms of base stats. We
have a Level 3, Fire attributed, Beast-Warrior with
a very low attack at 200 but an even higher defense
than we saw yesterday at 1800. Similar to yesterday
also, when sent from the Field to the Graveyard, not
merely leaves the Field, you can set a Fire
Formation Magic Card from your Deck to the Field. As
opposed to an attack and defense boost like
yesterday, here, you gain the protection of your
face-up Fire Formation Magic and Trap cards cannot
be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Any
protection is a good thing, but the fact we're in a
Format with triple Mystical Space Typhoon plus Heavy
Storm. The fact is, the protection from card effects
is negligible.

Day 2 on our 2 week long look at the Brotherhood
of the Fire Fist from Cosmo Blazar. Raven has
similar stats from yesterday's card, Hawk. but helps
out those cards that Hawk can get you. A level 3
FIRE/Beast-Warrior with 200 ATK and 1800 DEF. With
Hawk on the field, Raven's defense goes up to 2300
DEF, being able to block a lot. Raven has an effect
that is the same as Hawk, as when it's destroyed you
can get a "Fire Formation" Spell card from your deck
and set it in your backrow. But Raven can also
protect those "Fire Formation" spell/tap cards after
they are face up. That is pretty good, as the Fire
Fist monsters rely on those face up cards to help
them win games. Your opponent is going to have to
think hard to get Raven off the field, especially if
Hawk is there to grant the DEF boost. Overall, if
you plan on using the Brotherhood and use those
face-up Spell/Trap cards (And you will) Raven is a
must to protect them from Mystical Space Typhoons,
Heavy Storm and anything else that could wreck that
plan.
