Dododo Warrior kinda makes you want to say D'oh,
doesn't he? This is a Level 6, Earth attributed
Warrior, with 2300 attack and 900 defense, both of
which are subpar. Requiring a tribute, almost would
singe handedly kill any playability this card may
have had. But he can be Normal Summoned without
Tribute from your Hand, although his attack drops to
1800, but he still is a Level 6 Monster. This is
good, obviously for XYZ or even Synchro Summons.
When this card attacks, your opponent cannot
activate card effects from the Graveyard until the
End of the Damage Step. Honestly, you could do
worse, but that isn't going to stop a lot, if any,
of the cards you see played against you. If it were
able to stop card effects generally or something, we
might have winner. But since we don't...

Today’s card, Dododo Warrior, is a card with many
uses. First, it is a level 6 monster that can be
normal summoned. Level 6 monsters that you can get
on the field easily are a good thing. Once it hits
the graveyard, Call of the Haunted and Monster
Reborn can resurrect it to become a 2300 attacker or
Xyz material for one of the many powerful rank 6
monsters in the game. Even at 1800 in attack, it can
still destroy and negate all of the recruiter and
searcher monsters in the game. If you can’t wait for
your Warrior have a larger attack, you can always
play it with Skill Drain or Forbidden Chalice.
The main benefit that Dododo Warrior gives you is
in its level. If you want to have a Warrior build
designed to special summon rank 6 monsters, you
might try Destiny HERO’s with Dasher and Malicious.
When also played with Elemental HERO’s you have Gaia
and Masked HERO’s Goka and Vapor. Another nice fit
with Dododo Warrior is Hammer Bounzer and The Fiend
Megacyber as they too can be normal or special
summoned.
Dododo Warrior will also work well with Dododo
Buster in the future, as when it is tribute
summoned, you can special summon Dododo Warrior from
the graveyard. It is all about making those cool
rank 6’s with Dododo Warrior and having a negation
ability is just icing on the cake.

Welcome to our second day of looking at the cards
from the brand new collectible tin! Today we look at
another Yuma card, but this time a main deck
monster! This can be quite the threat against decks
like Lightsworn, but let's jump right ahead into our
review of Dododo Warrior!
Dododo Warrior
Level 6/ Earth/ Warrior
You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing,
but its original ATK becomes 1800. If this card
attacks, negate all card effects that activate in
the opponent's Graveyard, until the end of the
Damage Step.
2300/ 900
A very interesting card to say the least. Just from
looking at it, it is obvious to see that is meant
for making Rank 6's. However, there are a couple
other uses for this card.
For starters, he can be normal summoned for no
tribute, allowing you to easily get another level 6
on the field. Not bad I must say. However, his
attack does drop to the disappointing 1800. For a
beater now-a-days, 1900 is somewhat the norm, unless
you carry an awesome ability.
Luckily, Dododo Warrior does have a pretty good
effect. When he attacks, your opponent will be
unable to activate any effect that activates in
grave. Primarly, this stops cards like Necro Guardna
or Bacon Saver from stopping your attacks.
Andddd... that's about it. It's use is kinda limited
as to only grave-yard effects, but the effect is
pretty useful to have! However, there are plenty of
better options
Advanced: 2.5
It's decent, but not the best card to have been
released. Maybe if we ever receive any more Dododo
cards like Gagaga and Gogogo are?
Traditional: 1.5
I wouldn't even bother.
Art: 2.5
A very interesting mini-viking type character.

Okay, today we have another monster from the
Zexal Tin. It is a card that hasn’t had too much
attention but is it actually good?
You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing,
but its original ATK becomes 1800. If this card
attacks, negate all card effects that activate in
the opponent's Graveyard, until the end of the
Damage Step.
ATK/2300 DEF/900
So at first glance this monster doesn’t seem too
special. It is a warrior monster that can be normal
summoned with 1800 attack without tributing. Now
it’s actually a decent monster. You can normal
summon this monster with 1800 attack and then use
skill drain or forbidden chalice to make this
monster’s original attack return to 2300. You can
also return this monster to its original attack by
using it together with the field spell Future
Visions. This card is also a nice monster to use for
rank 6 Xyz monsters.
This monster is also a nice monster that can help
deal with monster effects like mystic tomato’s and
x-saber emmersblade’s effects.
Advanced: 2.75/5
-This card is decent but isn’t very good right now.
I can see this card as possibly being useful in the
future. Right now it is just too slow and not
relevant enough to use. It seems like a card that
would be good for casual play but not competitive
play. Beast king Barbaros can do almost the same
thing as this card and is just better.
Traditional: 1.5/5
-This card can be used against monster like sangan
and witch of the black forest, but it isn’t dark,
light, or fast enough to play here.
Art: 4/5
-The art looks pretty good and looks kind of cool
because it looks a Viking.

Dododo Warrior
Earth/Warrior/Effect/Level6/2300/900
You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing,
but its original ATK becomes 1800. If this card
attacks, negate all card effects that activate in
the opponent's Graveyard, until the end of the
Damage Step.
Next card from the 2013 Zexal Collection Tin is
Dododo Warrior. Dododo Warrior like a couple of high
level monsters has a way to summon him without
tribute summoning. In this case he loses 500 ATK
turning him into a level 6 monster with 1800 ATK
which was bad even back in the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh!
Still he does keep his level so he can be used to
get out Xyz and Sycnhro monsters easier.
Luckily Dododo Warrior has a second effect to make
up for his first. He will negate all effects in the
graveyard when he attacks. This is a good effect as
it stops the likes of Mystic Tomato and Sangan, as
well as cards like Necro Gardna.
Overall, Dododo Warrior has a lot going for him, but
it’s still hard to see him getting too much play
compared to other level 6 monsters.
