Thursday
Photon Satellite is similar to, yet different
than, Monday's card. Here we have a Level 1, Light
attributed Machine, with 0 attack or defense. You
use this effect, and use it in the turn you Summon
this Monster, cause so long as you do, the 0 attack
and defense are pretty much a moot point. You select
and target another Photon Monster you control. The
Level of both that card, and this card, become the
total Level of the two Monsters combined Levels.
Obviously here again we're going for XYZ Summon,
just play it to whatever you need, of course. I
think Monday did it better, and did it more, but
here you're not forced into Level 8.

Satellite is a card that like to jumble around
the levels of your Photon monster. Once per turn you
can target one Photon monster you control, and then
you add them up, and the targeted monster and
Satellite's level become the combined number you
get. So if you target Photon Thrasher with this
card, both monsters become level 5. That sets up a
for a lot of Xyz summoning. Satellite's stats are
0/0 for ATK and DEF, that speaks for itself. LIGHT
and Machine are supported heavily so that works
well. My favorite way to use this card is One For
One, thus setting up for cards like Photon Pirate.
Stats aside, this card is handy, but is to be used
in tandem with other Photon monsters. Not to be left
alone out there, cause it will get shot down real
fast.

Today we are looking at: Photon Satellite
“You can target 1 face-up "Photon" monster you
control; increase this card's Level by that target's
Level. This card can be treated as 2 Xyz Materials
for an Xyz Summon.”
So we have a 1 star 0/0 light machine that can make
a Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon, maybe. Call me crazy,
but I like it. As I mentioned yesterday Photons
still need something broken to really let them break
the top tier, but if and when they do this card is a
nice way to make Galaxy Eyes Photon dragon.

Photon Satellite
Light/Machine/Effect/Level1/0/0
Once per turn: You can target 1 other "Photon"
monster you control; the Levels of both that monster
and this card become the combined current Levels of
those 2 monsters.
After yesterday’s all out attacker, we return to
the other main focus of Photon monsters, allowing
the easy summon of Xyz monsters. For the most part
Photon Satellite isn’t much poor stats and an effect
that requires another Photon monster on the field.
But if you do that another Photon monster then you
can summon any generic Xyz monster that requires two
materials in the game (barring Rank 1). Chances are
you will most likely be summoning Rank 4 or 5 but
still there is a lot you can do with this card. Also
its extremely low stats means there are plenty of
ways to special summon him.
Overall a really useful card in Photon Decks but
limited outside of that.
