Closing this week and coming in at Number 6 is
Constellar Omega. Like this theme didn't get enough
support in Hidden Arsenal 7, we have a very good XYZ
Monster. This is a Rank 4, Light attributed, Beast
Warrior Monster with 2400 attack (good) but 500
defense (awful). XYZ Summoned by two Level 4 Light
Monsters, simple enough to accomplish.
Once per turn, during either players' turn you
can discard an XYZ Material to allow all Constellar
Monsters you control to be unaffected by Magic and
Trap cards for the duration of the turn. So your
opponent has to destroy your Monsters via head on
Battle, or by Monster effects.
Nevertheless keeping your opponent at bay from
Magic and Traps for a turn is still a great tactic.
The attack is good for Rank 4, although that defense
could be a big problem in a hurry. Still great for
Constellar

Constellar Omega needs only 2 Light level 4
monsters to summon, so it is not limited to the
Constellar archetype. A Rabbit with Alexandrite
Dragon, Bujin, E-HERO with Photon Thrasher, Fabled,
Holy Lightning, Lightsworn, Hunder, Fairy, Noble
Knight, Photon/Galaxy, and Vylon decks should all
have this Xyz monster in their extra deck.
2400 in attack may not seem like much, but it is
pretty good for a rank 4 monster. With its ability
to protect itself from spells and traps, Omega
becomes a pretty solid choice to summon, especially
if you are playing against a deck that relies on
traps and spell cards. You could even play your own
spells and traps, like Dark Hole, Torrential
Tribute, and Needle Ceiling. Keep in mind that it
protects all Constellar monsters not just itself.
Constellar Omega is a Beast-Warrior monster which
makes it a nice fit in a deck type yet to come
called Bujin. These monsters are also Beast-Warriors
and can be searched with Fire Formation Tenki and
given an attack bonus. Constellar Omega is also a
Light monster so Honest can be used to protect it in
battle. While not a stellar monster or game breaker
by any means, Omega can hold its own on the battle
field.

Making it to #6 is Constellar Omega. The much
awaited Constellars are headed up by this beast of a
Xyz monster. Omega is a Rank 4 LIGHT/Beast-Warrior
and needs 2 level 4 LIGHT monsters to summon. That
is really easy to do in a few decks, Lightsworn,
Prophecy, Constellar and even Batteryman can get 2
level fours out real quick. Omega's effect is where
it stands out. Once per turn you can detach 1 Xyz
material from this card, all Constellar monsters you
control are uneffected by Spells and Traps for this
turn. Even if it's just Omega on the field, his
impressive ATK of 2400 can get over a lot without
worrying about anything defensive your opponent may
have sitting in their backrow. Omega's 500 DEF is
just bleh, so hope this card doesn't wind up in
defense position. Omega is one of those cards that
can help set up for that big push when you have a
few other Constellar monsters out and are looking to
put your opponent away. Being a LIGHT monster helps
as cards like Honest can boost its ATK even more and
it's half of Black Luster Soldier's summoning.

Welcome back to the Pojo COTD where we are
discussing the last card of this week. This is an
import from the OCG and truly completes the
Constellar deck and makes it quite the force to be
reckoned with. Lets take a look at Constellar Omega!
Constellar Omega
Rank 4/ LIGHT/ Beast-Warrior
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can
detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all "Constellar"
monsters you currently control are unaffected by
Spell/Trap effects this turn.
2400/ 500
Allow me to say first that I love this card, and
I don't even play Constellars! This card makes
fantastic offensive force due to its ability to
protect itself, as it is a Constellar monster as
well.
But lets not get ahead just yet. Omega is a rank
4 with 2400 attack points, which is very
respectable. Many rank 4's being played, such as
Black Corn, Maestroke, and Cowboy (when you are
attacking it), all have attack points lower than
this monster. Requiring two Lights can be a burden,
but nothing too severe to summon it. It makes it a
powerful toolbox monster for Heroes, Hunders, and of
course Constellars. What makes this card so powerful
is its effect though.
Remember Evilswarm's Infestation Pandemic? Omega
basically does that, except on a 2400 attacker.
Since it is a Constellar monster as well, the
protection effect will cover itself; thus making it
quite hard to take down. When facing down a large
amount of backrow, the only saving grave for your
opponent will be to negate the summon, use a monster
effect to take it down, or use a chainable in
response to its effect.
Sadly, the game is moving away from a Spell/Trap
destruction focused meta (Its sad when decks aren't
using Dark Hole as it isn't good enough), so it
isn't the best time for Omega right now.... but the
card is still fantastic none the less.
Advanced: 4.25
This card is that good. It allows you to dodge
one of the greatest threats to any strategy, which
is backrow.
Traditional: 2.5
Think about all the heavy removal here; Raigeki,
Ring of Destruction, etc. This card can really save
you when you need it.

Today we are looking at: Constellar Omega
"2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters Once per turn, during
either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material
from this card; all "Constellar" monsters you
currently control are unaffected by Spell/Trap
effects this turn."
This guy is awesome! He can dodge mirror force
and the like, all while retaining a decent
Attack and typing. (Light is very easy to XYZ summon
with) outside of his immunity to spells there isn't
much too hi; but maybe there doesn't have to be. He
is solid, I would play him if I had room.

Alright!!! Today we have another fantastic card
from Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy. This card is a
great Xyz monster for the Constellar archetype and
can even be used in other decks too. Let’s see what
this card can do.
Constellar Omega
Attribute: Light
Types: Beast-warrior/Xyz/Effect
Rank 4
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can
detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all "Constellar"
monsters you currently control are unaffected by
Spell/Trap effects this turn.
ATK/2400 DEF/500
So this monster is nice and should probably be
used in every Constellar deck. Whenever you’re
worried about an opponent’s spells and traps you can
just summon this monster. It only takes 2 level 4
light monsters to make this monster and it is a
pretty decent beater/ Omega’s effect is basically a
built-in lance so it can protect itself from a lot
of cards. The only problem with this monster is that
it has no way to protect itself from bigger monsters
or monster effects. That can be a problem but it
isn’t a huge deal. This monster is pretty great and
can also be used in other decks that use Level 4
light monsters. Some other decks that can use this
card are Elemental Heroes, Noble Knights, and
Lightsworns.
Advanced: 4/5
-Overall this monster is great. It can dodge most
spells and traps, and can be used in decks outside
of Constellars.
Traditional: 3/5
-This card could actually be a bit useful here. It’s
a light monster and that can help a lot in this
format.
Art: 3/5
-This card looks a little weird. It looks kind of
cool but also looks pretty bizarre at the same time.

Today's Card of the Day Review is #6 on the
Pojo's Top 10 Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy Cards list
and this card can make an legit argument for being
the best Ultra/Ultimate Rare out of the entire set,
Constellar Omega.
This is a Rank 4 LIGHT Beast-Warrior with a solid
2400 ATK and a pitiful 500 DEF. It is Xyz Summoned
by using 2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters, which gives it a
lot of utility in multiple LIGHT-based decks like
Noble Knights, Hunders, Photons and Lightsworns
among other decks, including Constellars, who gets
the biggest boost.
Its effect is also quite useful as well.
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You
can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all "Constellar"
monsters you currently control are unaffected by
Spell/Trap effects this turn.
Pretty much it is a walking Infection Pandemic on
legs that works for Constellars instead of
Evilswarms. The effect does protect itself, giving
it value in other decks. What this means is you
basically have to beat it with a monster effect or
via battle and since the decks that use it typically
pack backrow cards, that isn't exactly easy to do.
However, for Constellars, it's the best thing to
come for the deck. By Xyz Summoning this card, you
can draw a card off of Constellar Star Chart while
being the main Rank 4 Constellar Xyz of their
choice. Provided it can survive a turn, you don't
have to fear any backrows provided they aren't
Counter Traps, adding a huge advantage for the
Constellar player. You can even use this offensively
by summoning a Constellar monster, activate
Torrential Tribute/Needle Ceiling, and then use
Omega's effect to shield your monsters from harm.
Once you get all of the use you want out of the
card, simply Chaos Xyz Change Omega into Ptolemy M7
and draw another card off of Constellar Star Chart.
Outside of this, there isn't a lot of extra
hidden tricks that hasn't been covered already. It
is a very solid Rank 4 Xyz monster that can (and
should) see play in basically any LIGHT deck due to
its utility and the ability to beat out
commonly-used cards. It is definitely worth picking
these up and holding on to them just in case.
Traditional Format: 2/5 (It got some value there
but it won't last long, unfortunately).
Advanced Format: 4/5 (While this format is simply
way too fast for Constellar Omega to flourish, keep
in mind that there is other formats in the near
future and Omega is waiting for its time to shine.
*pun intended*)

Constellar Omega
LIGHT/Beast-Warrior/Xyz/Effect/Rank4/2400/500
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can
detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all "Constellar"
monsters you currently control are unaffected by
Spell/Trap effects this turn.
At number 6 of our top 10 cards from Lord of the
Tachyon Dragon is Constellar Omega. Constellar Omega
to start has a couple of things going for him. First
of all, it has a quick effect, which is always good.
Second its quick effect has protection for all your
face-up "Constellar", always a good thing. Sadly
things start to go downhill. First it doesn’t
protect them from Monster effects, second it only
affects monsters than you control when the effect
was activated and finally 500 DEF! No wonder it has
protect against Spell/Trap effects, if not everyone
would be playing Book of Moon, the first chance they
could get.
Overall, A quick protection effect is really good,
but that 500 DEF is just really bad and hurts this
card.
