Evilswarm Thunderbird
- #HA07-EN051 During either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated (except during the Damage Step): You can banish this card you control. During the next Standby Phase, return this card banished by this effect to the field, and if you do, it gains 300 ATK. You can only use the effect of "Evilswarm Thunderbird" once per turn.

Didn't we cover how about all the Evilswarm Monsters
in this set have attacks and defenses that end in
50? Does that annoy anybody else? Evilswarm
Thunderbird, a Level 4, Dark attributed, Thunder
Monster, with 1650 attack and 950 defense, is a very
interesting Monster. During either player's turn,
when a card or effect is activated, you can remove
this card from play. During the next Standby Phase,
it returns to the Field, with 300 extra attack. So
that bumps you to 1950, I'd say you'd have to
successfully do this three times (2550 attack) for
him to really be a problem. It's worth noting his
effect doesn't negate or destroy any effects, simply
removes himself. He's not specifically Evilswarm
support, you could certainly use him in other Decks,
if you wanted. He's kinda slow, and we're in a fast
Format, but if you get one, hold onto him. He may
be more valuable as time goes on.

Thunder-type Monster...I have questions |

Evilswarm Thunderbird is a rather interesting
card, as it reminds me of Strike Ninja (google it)
in a way. A DARK/Thunder type, with the odd stats
1650/1050 for ATK/DEF. Once per turn, when an card
is activated or an effect goes off (Except during
the damage step) you can banish this card, and
during the next standby phase of any player,
Thunderbird returns to the field, and if it does so
through this effect, it gains 300 ATK. I like this
card as it can get around a lot of cards, including
Torrential Tribute. And when it returns from the
field, it gains an extra 300 ATK, going up to 1950
which is good. Thunderbird is not really a key part
of the Evilswarm deck as a whole, but it can be a
little handy at times.
