If you control a Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monster:
You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then
target 1 face-up card your opponent controls;
destroy that target. You can only use the effect of
"Bujingi Quilin" once per turn.
A random selection of cards this week and first off
is Bujingi Quilin. Statwise there isn’t much to
shout home about, it’s a LIGHT/Beast a bit strange
but still some support there, 1600 ATK is okay for
level 4 while 900 DEF isn’t great.
Effectwise, you can banish this from your grave
to target and destroy 1 of your opponent’s face-up
cards. Not a bad effect, of course this game has
plenty of destruction effects and it is nice that
this has to be in your graveyard to use it. However
the main problem is the strange condition of
requiring a Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monster,
which means you need a monster with a specific type
from a specific Archetype to use it. This does hurt
this card’s playability even in Bujin decks due to
this.
Overall a solid effect but the card is damaged by
an overly specific condition.
