Closing the week is Single Purchase, a Magic card
I'm fairly intrigued with. You have to have three or
more cards in your Hand to activate this, plus this
card, and then your remove you Hand from play. Of
course, you can't have any Monsters in your Hand.
Then you can add a Monster from your Deck to your
Hand, and if you do, you can't Normal or Special
Summon any Monsters, other than ones of the selected
name. So you have to give up four cards, three of
which you're removing from play, just to gain one
Monster from your Deck? I mean that's massive
disadvantage, -3 for those of you keeping track.
Maybe there's something combo wise to break this
open, if there is, I can't quite figure it out. For
now, my ratings reflect that

Today’s review is going to be a short one because
quite frankly, Single Purchase is not worth the
cost. Get it? Banishing at least three spell or trap
cards from your hand just to get one monster is
pretty bad hand management. I guess if you get a
powerful monster like Dark Armed Dragon or Judgment
Dragon with the requirements that you need in
the grave, then you can make up for the Banished
cards. You could also get Morphing Jar to replenish
your hand as you can still set it that turn. If you
are playing Spellbooks, you could set Spellbook of
Eternity and chain any quick play spells like MST
and Spellbook of Fate to get Temperance of Prophecy.
Summon Temperance and use its effect to get High
Priestess and Spellbook or Secrets.
There may be other ways to turn Single Purchase into
an advantage, but honestly, I can not see this card
ever being placed on a play mat.
