We've got a pretty decent week for you overall,
opening with the worst card in my opinion today.
Blue Mountain Butterspy, a Level 4, Dark attributed
Warrior, oddly, instead of an Insect, being a
butterfly. This Monster has 0 attack but a not so
bad 1700 defense. First off, you can't Normal Summon
or Set this card, a rather large drawback,
especially for a card with 0 attack. It can be
Special Summoned, however, when you Normal Summon a
Warrior from your Hand. This card can't be used as a
Synchro Material, but even as an option to use for
XYZ, it's junk. The Special Summon aspect is
limited, and it's just not worth your time.

We will mostly be reviewing cards from Hidden
Arsenal 7 this week and we are starting the week off
with Blue Mountain Butterspy. What Butterspy gives
you is the ability to special summon level 4
monsters. Along with similar monster like Kagetokage
and Goblindbergh, Blue Mountain can turn out rank 4
monsters on every turn.
Because Blue Mountain Butterspy is a Warrior-Type
monster, you can also use cards like Reinforcement
of the Army and The Warrior Returning Alive. You can
also use it with other Warrior-Type decks like
HERO’s, Noble Knights, Heroic and Butterspy to Xyz
summon powerful Warrior only monsters like Blade
Armor Ninja, Cosmics Hero King Arthur, and Heroic
Champion - Excalibur, Gandiva, and Kusanagi.
Any deck that plays a lot of level 4 monsters and
is based on getting rank 4 monsters to the field
quickly can use Blue Mountain. The main deck that
Blue Mountain Butterspy is built for is of course
Butterspy decks to primarily make the all powerful
Photon Alexandra Queen. In that deck type, your
Butterspy monsters are Dark and Light Warrior
monsters all with abilities, thus making for an
interesting Chaos build.
Blue Mountain Butterspy is not a bad card. It is
not great, but it is not bad ether. It does not give
you anything in card advantage, but being a Dark
Warrior that can be special summoned has its
benefits.

Blue Mountain Butterspy
DARK/Warrior/Effect/Level 4/0/170
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. When you Normal
Summon a Warrior-Type monster: You can Special
Summon this card from your hand. This card cannot be
used as a Synchro Material Monster.
Another week, another bunch of random cards plus an
old face for Halloween. First off is Blue Mountain
Butterspy, Basically a Warrior version of Kagetokage.
Statwise it isn’t much 0 ATK is really bad and 1700
DEF isn’t going to hold off much.
Effect wise on the plus side it can special summon
itself if you Normal Summon a Warrior. But then
everything goes down the toilet. First off a level 4
more that cannot be Normal Summoned or set, why? It
makes no sense especially as this card doesn’t have
an ultra-powerful effect and it can’t be used a
Synchro Material but it is okay for Xyz Material, ah
Konami and there priorities.
Overall, a poor card with too many conditions, weak
stats and it has a high risk of being a dead draw,
there are better special summoning warrior cards to
play.

Hey guys today we are going to be doing Blue
Mountain Butterspy an interesting card none the
less. When you normal summon a warrior monsters you
can special summon this card from your hand. Keep in
mind this card cannot be normal summoned or set on
his own right so he's heavily reliant on other
warrior type monsters in your deck. He's an allure
target and searchable by Reinforcement of the Army
(which is at one currently) so he could have some
synergy with a old school warrior toolbox deck, but
to be honest a warrior toolbox deck isn't that good.
The next deck he would good for is Elemental Hero..
A little more competitive here and with the loss of
Stratos he finds himself in a easier situation than
before. Making XYZ plays then following up with
Miracle fusion can lead to some strong OTKs but the
two things that hurt him here are he's dark (Meaning
Escuridao may have to up his count in the extra) and
he's not a E-Call target (Which Bubbleman would
outclass him in this spot) but if you like it by all
means try it out!
