Noble Knight Bedwyr
- #NKRT-EN002 When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Card from your Deck to the Graveyard. During either player's turn: You can target 1 "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Card and 1 appropriate monster on the field; equip that Equip Spell Card to that appropriate monster. This effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field.

In Konami's PR statement on the card, they
praised it's 1600 ATK as a way to avoid wasting
removal on weaker monsters. That's how you
know it's bad!
I originally thought the card equipped one Noble
Arms from your graveyard to a monster you control,
and in that context, it would've been cool.
But all it really allows you to do is move an Equip
from one monster you control to another, which isn't
impressive. It's a waste of a Normal Summon!
Just use Last Chapter and actually get the equip
card from the graveyard. It dumps an Equip
Spell from the deck to the grave, on summon, which
may be useful, but that's not enough to justify this
card in a summon-tight deck where you need to use
your summon on better cards like Merlin, Borz or
Medraut. Since it's a Noble Knight, it does
have glib combo potential, inherently, but at the
same time, there are plenty better NK monsters you
should be using.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Noble Knights return to CoTD with a new Warrior to
add to their lineup: Noble Knight Bedwyr. Good
stats, Warrior-type, Light-attribute fit with the
archetype and enormous amount of warrior and “Noble”
support.
When Bedwyr is Normal or Special Summoned you can
send a “Noble Arms” equip spell to the grave from
your deck. A Foolish Burial for an equip card
usually wouldn't be the best thing, but this is a
direct way to get to an equip spell, as all “Noble
Arms” equip cards have ways to get back to their
owner once hitting the graveyard, and Bedwyr is one
of those options. Once while Bedwyr is face-up on
the field you can, during either players turn, equip
a “Noble Arms” equip from your graveyard to an
appropriate monster. Bedwyr's equip from the grave
is a Quick effect, expanding the timing you could
activate this effect. Activate during your turn to
add some ATK power to one of your Warriors, or
during your opponents turn to raise a Warrior's ATK
over an attacking monster.
Four of the possible six “Noble Arms” equip spells
boost ATK power, giving a weaker “Noble Knight”
monster a better chance at survival. Noble Arms of
Destiny prevents a Warrior from being destroyed once
per turn. All “Noble Arms” (except Celestial Sword
Eatos) can return from the graveyard to the field
and requip if destroyed while on the field.
Bedwyr is a useful card for its archetype. One copy
at least in the deck.
