Wrapping up this week we have Dark Artist, one of the many cards that was in Japan for years and we are only getting now. Statwise there isn’t much to say it is a DARK/Fiend with mad stats even for a level 3. Dark Artist’s effect is even worse, it is being attacked by a LIGHT monster and there are loads of them being played, its DEF is halved. Yes its already terrible DEF gets even more, so it wouldn’t protect itself from anything playable.
 
Overall, play any other DARK/Fiend than this.

Dark Artist

For those who don't know, this card has been out in Japan for over 10 years but never released in English, much like “Swordsman from a Distant Land”. This card was horrible then. It's horrible now.

You would figure with such weak stats, it would have an effect to compensate for it, but it's effect only serves to weaken it further. It could've been a strong monster with an “Achilles heel”, but it's just an Achilles heel with an Achilles heel.

Collectors might enjoy the nostalgia for a minute, other than that, it's purely garbage. Warm up your fire place with it.

Is this a joke? I'm not even going to review this card....it's that bad. The best thing it has going for it is that it is a 3 star, dark fiend...Its stats are pointless and its effect is probably never going to come in handy.
