Another weaker Artifact, dealing with Caduceus
today. So he has all your standard Artifact text
you're familiar with by now. Also Level 5, and a
Light attributed Fairy, this time with 1600 attack
and 2100 defense. So he's stronger than yesterday,
albeit not by much. This card can be turned into
some pretty solid advantage. Each time during your
opponent's turn you Special Summon an Artifact, you
get to Draw one card. So long as this card is
face-up. The tricky part is he has to face-up at
activation and resolution of that effect. But it
still shouldn't be too terribly difficult to
accomplish.
Ratings:
3/5 both Formats, might actually be easier to pull
off in Traditional with more ways to destroy the
back row.

Artifact Caduceus
More Artifacts with Artifact Caduceus! Statwise like
all Artifacts it is a LIGHT/Fairy with 1600 ATK (bad
for a level 5) and 2400 DEF which is actually quite
good.
Effectwise, it has the same as the other main deck
Artifacts with its main effect being that each time
Artifacts are special summoned during your
opponent’s turn, you can draw a card. Draw power is
always good and since Artifacts are all about
Special Summoning during your opponent’s turn, you
should get a couple of draws of this. Also it
doesn’t matter how the Artifacts are summoned, which
again is a good thing. However you can only have 1
of these face up on the field and it has to be face
up in order to get its effect, both are annoying but
no really surprising
Overall, so solid draw power and it makes a decent
wall, maybe something to think about.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Caduceus has the standard Special Summon effects
that all “Artifact” monsters inherit. Its unique
effect after those is when every time an “Artifact”
monster is Special Summoned during your opponents
turn, you draw one card. Drawing a card is good, and
Artifacts are intended to Special Summon themselves
during their opponents turn to gain their effects.
The downside to this effect is that Caduceus has to
be face-up to resolve this effect while other effect
monsters gain their unique effect when they are
Special Summoned during the opponents turn. Caduceus
has lower attack but higher defense, so bringing it
out in defense may be preferred. To gain the most
positive off Caduceus, make sure its effect is last
if it and other “Artifact” monsters are Special
Summoning themselves in a chain. Caduceus will hit
the field, then other Artifacts will hit the field
and you will draw off of Caduceus. Caduceus is handy
to replenish your hand (as you will be setting a lot
of your monsters rather than summoning them), but it
won't be improving your field advantage.

Artifact Caduceus
Basically the standard artifact effect but you draw
a card when its summoned.
This is a good card, but simply drawing a
card isn't a fascinating ability.
Especially in an era where searchers are
really common and even Upstart Goblin is on the slow
side.
Moralltach was solid removal to help push for
aggressive plays.
Beagalltech was a prime-pump to fuel the
Artifact engine.
This effect lacks the context of the others,
but it can still be very useful in an Artifact deck.
Since Artifacts do have other cards to search them
like Ignition and Sanctum, it could work very well
like a toolbox.
Sometimes you just might need that draw.
The restriction of only controlling 1
Caduceus makes sense because we don't want anything
remotely resembling a draw loop to happen here.
Some Artifact decks or hybrids may just want to
stick to their 3 Moralltach and 2 Beagalltach.

Traditional – 1.5
Advanced – 3.25

Hello ladies and germs. See, I'm clever and quite
witty because I replaced "gentlemen" with "germs".
Yes, this is truly the epitome of high quality
humor. Bask in it, my pretties.
Today's card is Artifact Caduceus. Artifacts are
a theme that heavily drains your hand to pump
monsters onto the field, so how could they be so
dominant, you might be wondering. Well, herein lies
the secret. This does the generic "set me from the
hand" thing that all Artifacts do, but what makes
this stand out is its unique effect. During your
opponent's turn, when you summon an Artifact
monster, you get to draw a card. What this is is
essentially a T.G. Hyper Librarian for Artifacts,
which is good. I know you may be thinking you'll run
thoughtlessly run 3 now, as more draw can never be a
bad thing. Well, you may have to rethink that. You
can only control one face-up Caduceus, so you have
to weigh just how much drawing means to you against
the possibility of dead drawing this. I'd say it's
worth it.

Artifact Caduceus
Personally, I like this card. I really don't see why
most Artifact players don't use at least one of
them. When an Artifact is summoned(during the
opponents turn) and you control this monster face
up, you get to DRAW. Self explanatory drawing has
always been one of the best parts of the game, be it
back in the early days of Pot of Greed, or the
zombie formats of Card of Safe Return, Drawing
always gave you access to more cards and gave you
more chances to beat your opponent. The defense is
respectable, the attack is still garbage, but the
fact is, you want this for it's effect, and a lesser
extent the fact it's a 5 meaning more Rank 5 plays.
Traditional - 1/5 I may like the card, but like I've
said for the past few Artifact cards, they won't do
anything in Traditional overall
Advanced - 2/5 and I only go so low because it ISN'T
doing anything. If it were doing something, I'd
absolutely give it a higher rating than yesterdays
Beagalltach, but right now Beagall is overall more
useful to the Artifact lineup because reasonably, as
I've said, you run 5 artifacts. This would make 6,
sure, but you're getting at BEST 5 draws from the
effect and that's if the thing survives multiple
turns and you summon multiple monsters which, sadly,
I don't see happening
