El Shaddoll Shekhinaga
And now the elements shall answer to the Shaddolls…
El Shaddoll Shekhinaga is the latest Fusion monster
to support the Shaddoll Archetype, and it’s one that
provides a valuable stun aspect to the Deck.
It also works in very well with El Shaddoll Winda as
normally only Special Summoned monsters have the
strength or effects to be able to deal with the
Shaddoll Fusion monsters.
Even better is that it’s ability can be used during
either players turn, although only the once per
turn.
And since the effect of Shekhinaga requires you to
send a Shaddoll card from your hand to the
Graveyard, you’ll more than likely benefit from
doing so.
While you will require 1 Shaddoll monster and 1
Earth monster in order to Fusion Summon Shekhinaga,
there are many ways in which to get around this.
Super Polymerization is always going to be a good
option since it can be used to steal a Mathematician
or Glow-Up Bulb or it can be used against Qliphort’s
or Geargia’s for example. Either way, another Fusion
Attribute opens up more options and plays for the
Deck.
Sadly though, Super Polymerization is Limited.
Or of course you can use Shaddoll Fusion or El
Shaddoll Fusion to make use of Mathematician,
Glow-Up Bulb, Nefarious Archfiend Eater of
Nefariousness or even Dandylion. Although Dandylion
won’t really be able to be useful until El Shaddoll
Wendigo is released, this is because Dandylion’s
Fluff Tokens are Wind Attribute.
The only problem with adding in different Attributes
to the Shaddoll Deck is that such cards can
contribute to potential inconsistency in a Deck that
is already tight for extra space.
Traditional: 2.5. There are far too many ways in
which to remove monsters here, and some monsters
don’t even need to be Special Summoned here to have
an impact on the game.
Note: Today is the FINAL day for Traditional
ratings.
Sadly, Traditional Format is a thing that has all
but vanished from the Tournament scene, and is
generally only something that you participate in
with your friends when you want to take your broken
cards out for a “Spin”, or is something that you
play when you are playing over the internet with…
And this is all normally for fun anyhow.
Plus, some places that do allow for Traditional
Format can often add in additional “House Rules”
where some cards are unallowed as well as some other
weird rules like you cannot win before turn “X”.
All contribute towards the Traditional Format being
otherwise of no consequence.
Advanced: 4. Mathematician for example is
commonplace in Shaddoll’s as it allows them to set
up quicker, and since this cards effect is rather
decent at controlling the game it’s worthwhile
running up to 2 of these in the Side Deck.
