Nobleman of Crossout
- #SKE-038 Target 1 face-down monster on the field; destroy that target, and if you do, banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard, then, if it was a Flip Effect Monster, both players reveal their Main Decks, and banish all cards with that monster's name from both Decks.

Nobleman of Crossout
Was reviewed in 02, 04, 06, and 08. Then never
again... till now.
Used to be a staple that most people used two of,
back when flip effects were popular. Now that
flip effects (bar Shaddolls) are less common, it's
more difficult to relate to just how good Nobleman
exactly was. Was great stuff from 2004-2008.
During the Synchro era 2009-2012, people were
setting less monsters and Nobleman became dead.
But now with more floater monsters out there, people
are setting. Shaddolls set ; Burning Abyss
sets ; Fire/Ice Hand set ; Geargia's set. Most
decks have something they set. But how
important setting monsters is varies from deck to
deck, so this is now a borderline/good side deck
option.

Nobleman of Crossout
This is a VERY techy side deck choice against
Shaddolls. I do not like the fact you have to rely
on your opponent setting a monster to gain value
from this card. Considering the deck can function on
fusion plays alone. The most value you will get from
this is from a Shaddoll Beast or Shaddoll Hedgehog
in my opinion.

Nobleman of Crossout
This is primarily an anti Shaddoll card.
The biggest problem I have with this in this
instance is that Shaddoll’s can quite simply counter
it with Sinister Shadow Games and as a result you’ll
–1 yourself.
Mind you, if it works it’s great, but for me that
target really needs to be a Shaddoll Hedgehog or
Squamata… And invariably it ends up being the Decks
only Shaddoll Falco.
But maybe that’s just my bad luck!
Could also be used against Burning Abyss if their
only opening play is set Scarm, and can of course
also be combo’ed with Book of Moon if you need to
get rid of something that’s going to be difficult
for you.
Traditional: 1. No reason to play this here… If a
Deck relies on using set monsters… Such as Empty
Jar, Nobleman of Crossout is NEVER going to be the
card to help you out here.
Advanced: 2.75. While I see it’s potential for use
against Shaddoll’s you want to be able to open this
early, then hit Hedgehog, Dragon or Squamata so as
to slow your opponent right down. Also, a horrible
topdeck. Myself, I would not be able to fit this in
my Side Deck…

Nobleman of Crossout
Today we look at Nobleman of Crossout a card which
is 12 years old, being first released in Pharaoh's
Servant way back in 2002.
Nobleman of Crossout’s effect is quite nasty, it
destroys and banishes a face-down monster. This
alone is really good as it has the chance to
permentaly remove a monster and allow you a chance
for a direct attack. Also if it was a monster that
benefited from going to the graveyard all the
better.
What makes Nobleman of Crossout popular again is its
second effect, which if the banished monster was a
FLIP monster, both players must banish all copies
from their deck. This makes this card an excellent
counter against Shaddolls as all of their main deck
monsters are FLIP effect monsters. This means you
could get rid of potentially 3 cards with 1 card and
the opponent won’t get any of the monsters’ effects.
Overall a great card for the side deck in a Shaddoll
heavy environment. Even if you don’t face Shaddolls
it can still have its uses.
