Satellarknight Unukalhai

We're at the end of Unukalhai.  This card isn't really original or complex either, being a clone of Armageddon Knight essentially.  It dumps a Satellarknight to the graveyard, which isn't anything too profound, but it helps the deck.  Of all the Satellar monsters, its the most balanced in design, not to pay it too much compliment.

Filling your graveyard is important in a deck that is using 9 revival cards.  Yes, 9.  3 Call of the Haunted, 3 Soul Charge and 3 Altair.  So, it's important you fill your graveyard.

What do you send to the graveyard with this card exactly?  Generally, whichever Satellar you don't have in your graveyard you should dump with this card.  But if its early game and you have to priorities, I would send Deneb to the graveyard so you can revive it and plus off of it too.

This card isn't a powerhouse and isn't as significant as Altair and Deneb, but its far from an Alsahm, and I'd say it beats Vega.

So, in the end, I'd rank the Satellar monsters as such:

Altair (use 3) > Deneb (use 3) > Unukalhai (use 3) > Vega (use 1) > Alsahm (use 0)

Assessments

Power – 3/5 ; Like I said, nothing profound.  But it adds to consistency.  And at 1800 ATK, it can also run over a few things too.

Versaility – 4/5 ; It won't be as impactful late game, but since you can choose what cards to send, this card gives you some flexibility.

Dependability – 3/5 ; Its self-sufficient and requires no other cards or costs.

Card Advantage – 3/5 ; You're kind of taking a bit of a loss for the long term consistency of plussing like crazy off of Altair and Deneb.

Speed – 5/5 ; Like the other Satellarknight, it works on-summon, which is as fast as a monster can get.  And it overall speeds up the deck.

Satellarknight Unukalhai

This is the third piece of the engine. Load up the graveyard then special summon with Altair. This card deck thins one as well. A central combo piece to one of the best decks in the current meta.

Satellarknight Unukalhai

We conclude our journey through the stars as we look at Satellarknight Unukalhai. Statwise Satellarknight Vega is a LIGHT/Warrior so there is loads of support for him and has 1800 ATK and 1000 DEF making him a solid if unremarkable Level 4 beatstick.

Effectwise, when Satellarknight Unukalhai is summoned you get a ‘tellarknight version of Foolish Burial. Handy for thinning the deck and getting a target for Satellarknight Altair, but it doesn’t have the same combo potential as some of the other ‘tellarknights. Still there isn’t anything wrong with an extra foolish burial.

Overall a solid beatstick and a sold effect, but lacks the same combo potential as they others.

For our final CotD of the Satellar week we find the hardest to pronounce of the Satellarknights, Unamekalekahimekahinehineho(seriously, I've called it that during tournament play). While he's the best statistic'd of the Satellars boasting 1800 attack, he's got the 4th best effect over all as a standalone monster. Summon him and send a monster to the grave. Standalone, not that great, however follow that with Call of the Haunted or Soul Charge and you can make a nice field there. Summon Unk, send Vega, Call/Charge Vega, Summon Deneb, Search Altair, Make Delteros. Can't argue with a successful end to a play, right? Granted this all is subject to having said cards in hand but any combo is subject to that. The fact that alone, he still can't stand up to a Thunder King and you may not even see a Call or the now limited Soul Charge means your sending had better be something you don't want to draw(Personally I send Alsahm to make an altair play with it next turn assuming Unk is not destroyed)

Traditional 1.5/5
Advanced 3/5 - Absolutely necessary to the deck but still the weakest in terms of straight utility. Considering the deck is based around easy searched monster combos, to really gain maximum use of Unk's effect, you need your spell/trap effects which sadly are not searchable.

Satellarknight Unukalhai

For the last card of the Satellarknight week, we have our totally-not-Armageddon Knight-card, Satellarknight Unukalhai.

(Has this gotten old yet?) Yet AGAIN, like every other Satellarknight monster, it is a level four light Warrior, and is therefore searchable through every means his brother and sister Tellarknight are. He has the highest attack of their main deck monsters, and is Stellarnova Alpha fodder

What he does for the deck is quite often underestimated. When summoned through any means, he sends a Satellarknight from your deck to the graveyard, besides himself. As always, you have the obligatory once-per-turn clause tacked on at the end. Now, you might ask, why mill a Tellarknight? What's the purpose?

Well, you see, he sets up for graveyard revival. You are most likely going to send Deneb, and therefore, you can revive him through means such as Call of the Haunted, Soul Charge, and Altair. You can also send Vega and Altair for similar purposes, but you are still most likely to send Deneb. Lategame, when you are running dry on your Deneb-Altair wombo combo, being able to have a decent beatstick as a search target is often invaluable, as is having another target for Stellarknight Delteros in the deck.

Overall, a very vital part of Satellarknights, though not to the extent of Deneb and Altair.

Advanced:3.5
Traditional:2.5

And that's it for our Tellarknight week, folks!
