You can search at a discard, and on that aspect alone it's a one-for-one.  As for the body itself, it's a 2000-ATK beater which is stuck in defense mode.  Since it Special Summons, it'll help you do some LV5 XYZing, within a Galaxy deck.  All in all, Galaxies are low tier deck, and while this card gives the deck some consistency, it doesn't add any power or card advantage to it.

Galaxy Soldier...this card works in a way like The Tricky.  You can Special Summon this card from your Hand by sending another Light Monster you hold to the Graveyard.  Although you have to Special Summon it in Defense position, and with that 0 defense, you better be Tributing, XYZ Summoning, or something really quick.  I'm all but positive you're never going to actually Tribute for this Mosnter.  The 2000 attack alone isn't worth a Tribute.  When Special Summoned, you can add a Galaxy Monster from your Deck to your Hand.  That's a good enough effect, although doesn't warrant this guy remaining on your Field helpless in Defense position.  If you use it right, as mentioned earlier, you will at least potentially gain some advantage out of this though.
