It gives you a free Special Summon (to help summon an XYZ) and a free draw to protect itself.  It thins the deck out a bit and gives it a lot of consistency.  A must have for Star Seraphs.

Star Seraph Sovereignty...I suppose that perhaps looks like a sovereign throne of sorts...Light and Fairy again (although with a real ominous look to it, despite being a chair) with 800 attack for a Level 4, but 2000 defense here.  Can't be used as XYZ Material for XYZ Summon unless said XYZ has 3 or more XYZ Material.  Relevant as it plays into and with yesterday, which makes both of these cards a little better.  Namely yesterday but here too.  In addition, if you Normal or Special Summon a "Star Seraph" Monster(s), save the Damage Step, you can Special Summon this card from your Hand, and Draw 1 card from your Deck.  If successful, of course.  Furthermore, if the card you Draw is a "Star Seraph" Monster, you can Special Summon that Monster as well.  Potential and hope for this guy for sure.  Good, not great, but not at all bad
