Baneful

It can be Special Summoned easily by Farmgirl banishing itself, so as an easy to summon 2300 beater.  The fact that it destroys a Spell/Trap card and replaces itself when destroyed means it will increase your overall card advantage by 1 atop of having a good field presence.

Kozmo Sliprider, which vaguely, yet I guess very differently (does/doesn't) resemble an X-Wing enough to not be sued by Disney.  (These cards overall have very beautiful artwork).  Anyway, Level 5, Machine, Light...nothing wrong here so far.  2300 attack and 800 defense are rather low for a Level 5, but there are good points to be seen here.  If Normal or Special Summoned (thank God as I hate when cards only get effects if they HAVE to be Normal Summoned) you get to target and destroy a Magic or Trap card on the Field.  Much better via Special Summon as it's a +1 instead of wasting a Tribute for a 1-for-1.  Oh, but in addition (remember these guys revolve around removing themselves and each other and returning from play) if you remove this card from play, from your Graveyard, you get to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Kozmo Monster from your Deck.  He's another solid asset to his team, most definitely.

Hello Pojo Fans,

The “Kozmo” monsters replace each other and find their way back with relative ease even when banished, and Sliprider is no exception. Able to be Special Summoned with either Farmgirl or Goodwitch, a free spell/trap destruction whenever summoned is always beneficial. Decent ATK, but bad defense for level 5 that isn't a Monarch. Has the pluses of being a Machine-Type and LIGHT Attribute with the support associated.

While you break even off the destruction effect if targeting your opponents spell/trap, you can target one of your spell/trap cards like Kozmotown to give you another resource. Combo this with Kozmotown and go through all of Kozmotown's effects before summoning Sliprider and destroying Kozmotown to get another “Kozmo” card to your hand. Or combo with Farmgirl at the End Phase of your opponents turn to destroy a newly set spell/trap.

Kozmo, Kozmo, Kozmo. There are 4 monsters currently in the Kozmo lineup and we have reviewed 1. Guess what? Kozmo Sliprider is number 2! Are you excited? I know I am!

Let's look at the raw stats. Kozmo Sliprider is a Level 5 Light Machine type monster with 2300 Atk and 800 Def. It has good enough Atk for a single tribute monster. Light is always good with Honest. Machine and the ease at which this can be special summoned during the Battle Phase make Limiter Removal relevant again. After Limiter Removal destroys this ship, its effect to Special Summon a lower level Kozmo monster can activate, but we'll get to that later. Finally Level 5 Machines warm my heart because of their synergy with Cyber Dragon. I wonder if there is a Cyber Dragon / Galaxy Soldier deck that would utilize this. In any case, two Kozmo Sliprider equals 1 Cyber Dragon Nova which will eventually equal Cyber Dragon Infinity which is an awesome XYZ monster that you want whether you know it or not.

So the stats are good. Coincidentally, the effects are good as well. In the Kozmo deck, if this is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can banish Sliprider and Special Summon a lower level Kozmo monster from your deck. In any deck, when this is Normal or Special Summoned, you can target and destroy 1 Spell or Trap on the field. That is great. If you go the normal route, this effect is a one for one, the monster you tributed for their spell or trap. Or you can target your own Kozmotown to get the free search of its destruction. Or you can be very sneaky. Activate Call of the Haunted during your Battle Phase to target Sliprider. Use Sliprider's effect to target Call of the Haunted which will destroy Sliprider by an effect letting you banish it from the graveyard to get the Special Summon effect still during your Battle Phase.

Kozmo's love having a clear field to operate successfully. This monster helps with that and can help with the OTK. It's great for Kozmos and good for other decks. The combo potential in any deck is easy because the effects can be activated multiple times in the same turn. It's only rare, go get 3 of these.

Score: 4/5 Level 5 Machines with good effects are good.
Art: 4.5/5 Red and Gold are my favorite colors.

Snodin

So apparently, this ship is referred to as Ruby Shoes, as Farmgirl/Dot (or Glinda, I can't tell) is its rider. Does she have to click it three times to make it work?

While not the strongest Level 6 monster, Sliprider does come with his own MST when summoned/special summoned. And like I said before, you can combo him with Kozmotown for recycled farming goodness- get banished for its own effect, get new card, Kozmotown effect returns him to the hand (at the cost of LP). For more search fun, you can use Sliprider's MST effect to kill Kozmotown and activate its own search effect.

The only downside is its ATK/DEF. 2300 ATK won't do much against other high-level monsters, but if you can work around that then I see no reason not to maindeck this guy.

Final Score: 4/5
