Kozmo Goodwitch
- #CORE-EN083 During either player's turn: You can banish this card; Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher "Kozmo" monster from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Kozmo Goodwitch" once per turn. Once per turn: You can pay 500 LP, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position.

She may be a little less good than her sister,
Farmgirl, but she's still pretty good and you should
run 3 of her in a Kozmo deck (at least until they
get more support). She banishes herself to
summon the big beaters easily (and can be returned
via Kozmotown). She's also a bit stronger than
Farmgirl. Her effect to flip the opponent's
monsters facedown can be very useful to destroy them
in battle, or to negate the effect of
floodgate/lockdown monsters.

Kozmo Goodwitch...what an odd looking
Monster...the green skin reminds me vaguel of Gamora
from Guardians of the Galaxy, and she also
apparently wields a Lightsaber of sorts...despite
that star between the hilt and the blade.
She's a good attacker out of the bunch, 1800 for
Level 4 is great. Light and Psychic, as
shouldn't surprise anyone by now (though the art and
name of witch makes me kinda feel Dark). So,
during either player's turn, you can remove
Goodwitch from play to Special Summon a Level 5 or
higher Kozmo Monster. From your Hand...they
don't always come from the removed from play pile,
they just about always go there. In addition,
we have another effect with a marginal Lifepoint
cost, as we've seen in a couple of these cards all
ready. Pay 500 Lifepoints to target a face-up
Monster of your opponent's and change it to
face-down Defense position. She's the best of
the bunch behind Farmgirl, at least of what we have
to date. You play three of these.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Kozmo Goodwitch is a more offensive form of Farmgirl.
Each can Special Summon from the hand via their
banishing Quick-effect (though Goodwitch is
Level 5 and above, that will likely come into play
as the archetype get more members), but Goodwitch
has the added incentive of monster manipulation. 500
Life Points to Book of Moon a monster is nothing to
pay, and with 1800ATK, Goodwitch is likely
destroying most monsters she uses this effect on.
Goodwitch alongside Farmgirl are a good team.
Goodwitch uses her effect to flip and take out the
opponents monster, then Farmgirl attacks, does
damage, then uses her effect to search a “Kozmo”
card from your deck. Protection built-in, Book of
Moon effect, strong ATK, Goodwitch has got a lot
going for her. Unlike all other “Kozmo” monsters,
Goodwitch can be splashed into other decks that
revolve around Psychic-Type, LIGHT Attribute, or
Chaos-build decks.

We have discussed a lot of
these Kozmos already. Therefore, I am going to
neglect some of the things we have already talked
about in order to focus more on this card
individually. Kozmo Goodwitch is a Level 4 Light
Psychic-Type monster with 1800 Atk and 1000 Def.
These are essentially the same stats as Farmgirl but
Level 4 and higher Atk. Being Level 4 does open some
Rank 4 options, but your goal is to use the effect
and Special Summon one of the ships from your hand.
Again, doing this during the Battle Phase makes for
excellent OTKs.
The other effect is ok. Once
per turn, you can target and Book of Moon an
opponent's monster at the cost of 500 LP. With Book
of Moon limited to 1 per deck, this is a good
alternative. However, what are you hoping to flip
down? If you could activate this during your
opponent's turn, you could shut down some Burning
Abyss plays. As it stands now, Kozmo Goodwhich is
good at being the middle pilot monster for the
theme, but it's effect doesn't make it versatile
enough to be considered for other decks.
Score: 3.5/5 It's good, not
great. It is absolutely still 5/5 in the Kozmo deck.
Art: 5/5 Chicks with sabers.

“Begone,
before someone drops a house on YOU!” -Glinda
the Goodwitch
Another
staple in the ongoing Kozmo theme, we have Glinda in
all her Jedi glory (come on, that's totally a
lightsaber!). At 1800, she's a fairly strong monster
on her own, but where she really shines is her
effects:
1.
Banishing her from the field lets you special summon
a higher level Kozmo monster from the hand.
2.
Paying 500 LP lets you force an opposing monster
into face down DEF position, and may allow her to
actually kill it if its DEF is that low.
Glinda
is also recyclable by Kozmotown, so you could
potentially swarm the field with your high-level
Kozmos, or perhaps set them up to be Syncroed or
XYZ'd. My grammar is bad, I know. But you get what
I'm saying.
Final Score: 5/5 (I shouldn't have to tell you which
Deck she belongs in)
