We continue our Top 10 countdown with #6: Kozmo
Farmgirl.
Position on my List: N/A
Kozmo Farmgirl actually just barely missed a spot on
my list; I had her at #10 until I realized that I
had forgotten about PSY-Framelord Omega in my
initial draft. As a result, she ended up clocking in
at #11 for me.
When making my list, I try to avoid non-generic
cards if there are a large amount of good generic
cards (which is why I didn’t include El Shaddoll
Construct in my 2014 list). However, Kozmo Farmgirl
deserves mention for just how much she does for the
Kozmo archetype. Being a Level 3 Psychic means she’s
summonable off of Emergency Teleport, so you have
effectively have 6 copies of her in the Deck. This
is great because Farmgirl is pretty much the heart
and soul of the Deck. The ability to search any
Kozmo card out of the Deck is incredibly in a Deck
that is otherwise lacking in the search department
(with the exception of the Kozmo ships floating down
into a smaller Kozmo on destruction, but you have to
get a ship out first to do that).
Taking damage from Kozmo Farmgirl is a massive
threat, as it allows Kozmo Decks to get to their
power plays much faster, and it also allows them
tack on large amounts of damage.
The Kozmo archetype as a whole is a bit overrated in
my opinion, but you can’t deny the sheer amount that
Farmgirl does for it.

At #6, the card I didn't have a chance to review
months ago as I was very busy that week. It's
every bit of a great card as it was on release. Very
easily summonable by Emergency Teleport and
recoverable by Kozmotown. It plusses upon
inflicting battle damage with a search effect, which
improves the deck's consistency. You can also
use the card's banish effect to summon a Sliprider/Forerunner/DarkDestroyer
from your hand, whether Farmgirl is in danger from
attacks/effects or as a way to get an extra attack
and rack up damage on the opponent's life points
during the Battle Phase. You can even use its
effect to search a monster and then summon it right
after.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Kozmo Farmgirl is one of two “Kozmo” monsters to
make it on the top 10 list for the year. Kozmos hit
the TCG like a shockwave and with their continued
support being better than the previous support they
got, along with not being hit by the ban list, they
will continue to grow in dominance. Farmgirl starts
it all off as the cornerstone of the deck.
A quick effect during either players during gives
you a lot of options. Most “Kozmo” monsters are
Level 4 or higher, this effect will hit almost
everything you could have in your hand, replacing
the Farmgirl with something stronger. A search after
doing damage with her at the cost of 500 Life Points
is nothing, and will only continue to strengthen
your position. Also, it is any card, not just a
monster that this gal can search. While most
searchers can search out one thing, this monster can
search out any “Kozmo” card, ensuring you will
always have a way to get what you want with her. Her
being banished won't last long with Kozmotown being
run in 3's in the deck, and the cost to get her back
using that card isn't anything to the player either.
Banish to drop Dark Destroyer, then next turn pay
using Kozmotown to get Farmgirl back and do it all
over again. Attack with her, deal damage, search out
Dark Destroyer, banish her to Special Summon Dark
Destroyer, and attack with it.
With all the support for the Kozmo archetype (and
the support to come) this archetype isn't going
away, but it may be #1 focus on the next ban list.

Review for Kozmo Farmgirl 12/21/2015
Kozmo Farmgirl received a score of 4.13/5 back when
the Kozmo hype train was fast and furious. Now that
some of that is over and the price has gone down
quite a bit, we can safely say that yes, Kozmo will
be around as a formidable archetype. Some other
decks are fairly good counters, but Farmgirll
herself is still the great linchpin card for the
deck.
Score: 4/5 Kozmo will be around until the banhammer
hits.
Art: 5/5 Star Wars 7 is good.

Card: Kozmo Farmgirl
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really
like this theme! Kozmo decks are weak now, but I'm
sure they'll get more support in the future; until
then, we have Farmgirl (and Toto too) as the best
searcher of the bunch. By sacrificing her to be
removed from play, you can Special Summon any level
4 or higher Kozmo monster from your hand, which is
another way of saying “I win” if it happens to be
one of the fighter ships. (More on them later.)
Her second effect is great too, but the hard part is
getting her to do actual battle damage. But if
you're skilled at the game, you could probably pull
off a Dark Destroyer search and summon trick in one
turn.
You know, it's kind of refreshing to see that this
card is limited to its theme, because if she was
more versatile, you can best bet that she'd be
banned by now.
Score: 5/5, Kozmo only
