Infernoid Onuncu
- #SECE-EN019 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 "Infernoid" monsters from your hand or Graveyard while the total Levels and Ranks of all Effect Monsters you control are 8 or lower, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy all other monsters on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated: You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.

Infernoid Onuncu is the boss for its Deck, as you
probably gather if only by looking at the card.
Take a second to do so, and just be in awe of that
artwork. 3000 attack and defense...spectacular,
Fiend, and Fire (odd but works) and Level 10 is fun.
So you can't Normal Summon or Set this card, and it
MUST be Special Summoned by removing three Infernoid
Monsters from your Hand or Graveyard (not and/or,
simply or) while you control Effect Monsters whose
Levels and/or Rank are 8 or lower. Now, once
Special Summoned, you destroy all other Monsters on
the Field, so there's a plus, and it probably would
be wise not to have anything on your Field just so
you don't lose anything. Once per turn (during
either players' turn) you can negate the activation
of a Magic/Trap card by Tributing one Monster on the
Field. Infernoids are quick, they like to
swarm, but any Deck that can shut down the removal
mechanism is going to slaughter this Deck.
You're running two of these I'd say in the Deck,
he's a beast.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Infernoids are an interesting archetype, packing one
heck of a boss monster: Infernoid Onuncu. All “Infernoids”
have the same Type, Attribute, and roughly the same
kind of summoning conditions.
Onuncu needs 3 “Infernoid” monsters banished from
either the hand or grave to be Special Summoned,
with the added restriction of effect monsters on
your field not totaling over 8 stars/ranks.
Monsters with the text “cannot be Normal
Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned” usually
cannot be Special Summoned from the graveyard. This
card can be Special Summoned from the hand and can
pull itself out of the grave with its effect. Once
on the field, Onuncu will wipe the field clean of
monsters. Tribute a monster on the field and Onuncu
can negate a spell/trap during either players turn.
The monsters don't need to be “Infernoid” or Effect
monsters, it can be any monsters or Tokens you
control. Spell/Trap negating and the ability to pull
itself out of the graveyard, Onuncu is a worthy boss
monster.
Infernoids need to have access to other Infernoids
to banish to Special Summon themselves. Cards like
Reasoning, and Monster Gate can help fill up the
graveyard for a swarming of the field. Necroface can
return the cards to the deck to be used again, and
Infernoids have their own spells/traps that are
archetype-focused to help ease their summoning
conditions.

Infernoid
Onuncu
Onuncu is
the big Infernoid boss monster, and when I say that
he’s big, I think it’s fairly obvious I’m not
exaggerating. 3000 ATK and DEF is huge, especially
when combined with Onuncu’s own very potent effects.
Even though destruction effects aren’t that great,
Onuncu’s is still pretty potent – it doesn’t target
and hitting everything at once is still pretty
solid. The effect that destroys Spell and Trap cards
is also pretty decent, it goes along rather nicely
with the rest of the disruption that the Infernoids
have.
The main
issue, from what I can see, is that Onuncu is rather
difficult to use potently due to it pretty much
always having to be the only Infernoid monster you
control. If you summon another before it
you can’t use the destruction effect and
attack with both, it’s a minor issue, but still not
really what you want. The other thing is that
Infernoids are incredibly inconsistent, and are hurt
by floodgates way more than any competitive deck
should be, Onuncu has the issue that all of them
have – they’re great when the deck gets going, but…
well, the deck doesn’t get going often enough.
