Archfiend Black Skull Dragon
- #CORE-EN048 1 Level 6 "Archfiend" Normal Monster + 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster
You can only Special Summon "Archfiend Black Skull Dragon(s)" once per turn. If this card attacks or is attacked, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. If damage calculation is performed involving this Fusion Summoned card, at the end of the Battle Phase: You can target 1 "Red-Eyes" Normal Monster in your Graveyard; inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK in the Graveyard, then shuffle it into the Deck.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Another card geared to the “Red Eyes” archetype,
slated to gain more support with the release of
Dragons of Legend 2 tomorrow. Dragon's Mirror is the
easiest way of Special Summoning this monster until
“Red-Eyes Fusion” is released in the upcoming set.
Another possibility is using Prisma to send REBD to
the grave and use it alongside Dragon's Mirror.
Ancient Gear Golem-like effect when attacking or
being attacked helps protect it from in-battle cards
like Shrink, Book of Moon, Mirror Force, or the
upcoming Roulette Spider. After damage calculation,
you have the option to cycle a “Red-Eyes” Normal
Monster back into your deck to do LP damage equal to
its ATK. LP damaging effects through monsters and
cards in the “Red-Eyes” archetype have been
consistent, so this isn't a surprising effect. While
you may want to keep your graveyard stocked with
“Red-Eyes” monsters as they can be Special Summoned
pretty easily with the new support, this could be a
late-game winning play.

Summoning a 3200 ATK monster for practically free
with Red-Eyes Fusion (while filling your graveyard
with two monsters) seems too good to be true.
As as being impervious to effects during the Battle
Phase and even being able to inflict 2400 fee
damage. There's no denying this card is good
but it's also important to read between the lines.
If this card is destroyed before the Battle Phase
(i.e. cards like Bottomless Trap Hole), then you get
nothing out of this card. And while direct
damage is really good late game, this Red-Eyes
Fusion, and in consequence, this card will most
likely be played early game while there's still REBD
and Summoned Skull in your deck. As a Fusion
monster, this card takes no space, but you will have
to risk drawing your Normal Monsters and minusing
off them since they'll be dead in hand.
Definitely a big boost for Red-Eyes but it's not
without its weaknesses either.
