U.A. Midfielder
- #NECH-EN087 You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Midfielder". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Midfielder" once per turn this way. During either player's turn: You can target 1 other "U.A." monster you control; return that face-up monster to the hand, then Special Summon 1 "U.A." monster from your hand with a different name from that monster. You can only use this effect of "U.A. Midfielder" once per turn.

U.A. Midfielder is our midweek card. This
guy is rather unremarkable in terms of attack and
defense for a Level 4 at 1200/1000 respectively.
But his effect is pretty cool. With such low
stats, he's pretty vulnerable to attack, but his
effect allows you to bounce him back to your Hand
and be replaced by another U.A. (also from the Hand)
so long as it has a different name. Said
effect can also be used during the turn of either
player, which makes this a great defensive tactic
also. Some Monsters in a Deck are made to
attack and/or defend. This guy clearly isn't,
but he still has a welcome place.

Midfielder is the only Level 4 monster in the
archetype, and thus, is a focal point in the deck.
The easiest of the “U.A.” monsters to be summoned in
ways twice per turn, this is the card that can get
things going for the deck.
Midfielder's effect can get use out of any “U.A.”
monster that already activated its effect that turn,
but was returned to the hand for another “U.A.”
monster. Special Summon more with Rebounder or set
up protection with Perfect Ace. During your
opponents turn this can be a saving grace during
battles or when a card is targeting one of your
monsters. Swap another “U.A.” monster out for a
better monster or save one of your monsters from a
card effect. Being able to swap out during your
opponents turn without the aid of U.A. Turnover
Tactics or Call of The Haunted will also activate
Rebounder's effect, netting you a +1.
On your turn it is a means for another “U.A.”
monster to hit the field and attack in addition to
the ones you already have on the field. It gets
around the “once per turn” ruling, which is a big
plus. During your opponents turn, it is a means to
protect your monsters and field/hand advantage.

Art-3/5- If anyone's seen Eyeshield 21, this guys
art reminds me of Kongo Agon (despite it not being
American Football)
