U.A. Playmaker
- #SECE-EN087 You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Playmaker". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Playmaker" once per turn this way. When another "U.A." monster you control declares an attack: You can have this card lose exactly 800 ATK, and if it does, your attacking monster gains 800 ATK.

U.A. Playmaker is one of the few U.A. Monsters
with a strong attack. 2600 is a bit low for a Level
8, as is the 2000 defense. His effect does
actually help the Deck a great deal. Now,
don't mistake that for this card being good.
Helpful doesn't mean good. When another U.A.
you control attacks, you can have this card give up
800 of his own attack, and then the Monster
attacking gains 800 attack. I'm not generally
a fan of effects like this BUT with all the bouncing
around these guys can do, after you use his effect
once (or twice what have you) just cycle him back to
the Hand and bring out a new U.A. As said,
this guy helps, but I feel you don't need him in the
Deck. Not a bad card though.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Playmaker isn't as much of a playmaker as other
“U.A.” monsters, but it can be a finishing card.
Much like U.A. Stadium, Playmaker's ATK boost to
other monsters is permanent, so if you want to keep
a “U.A.” monster on the field for long, this card is
a good helper. Multiple times you can drain this
cards ATK per turn (3 at the minimum) for your
“U.A.” monsters, then pop Playmaker back to use next
turn.
It's good, but if it could use its effect during
either turn would make it a better card. Its strong
ATK is useful (strongest of all “U.A.” monsters) but
the point of Playmaker is to drop its ATK several
times a turn, pop it back, then repeat next turn.
Attack with Playmaker first, then use his effect on
other “U.A.” monsters.
