Infernoid Seitsemas
- #SECE-EN017 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 2 "Infernoid" monsters from your hand or Graveyard while the total Levels and Ranks of all Effect Monsters you control are 8 or lower, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card attacks an opponent's monster, this effect can be activated at the end of the Battle Phase: Banish 1 card on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can Tribute 1 monster, then target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish it.

"Mean and Evil" |
Species: Infernoid Seitsemas, インフェルノイド・ヴァエル (Infernoid
Vael), Lord of Darkness. I. Seitsemas possesses a
humanoid body, but has the head of what appears to
be a bull. Like its fellow "Infernoid" brethren,
featherless wings adorn its robotic body. As an "Infernoid"
with a level higher than 5, it can tribute a monster
during either players turn, to banish a card in the
opponent's graveyard, an improved version of the
level 4 or lower "Infernoid" monsters' effect - only
the level 9 and 10 "bosses" deviate from this
practice.
"Infernoid" monsters of levels 5 to 8 focus less on
spot removal, but gain possibly useful effects
through battle: I. Seitsemas can banish any card at
the end of the battle phase if it battled a monster
(this can even include Skill Drain if it is tributed
before the first effect resolves); I. Piaty, which
discards a random card fromt the opponent's hand
after dealing damage battling a monster, and I.
Sjette, which makes the opponent banish an extra
deck card whenever it declares an attack, boast
little utility compared to it, but sport levels that
may lend themselves better to extra deck summons. I.
Attondel can attack once again when it destroys a
monster in battle, and is a valuable follow-up to
the lower level monsters' onslaught.
The level 5 and higher "Infernoid" monsters can be
special summoned from the graveyard, which makes for
less of a need to run multiples; I. Seitsemas can
remove some cards that no other "Infernoid" monsters
can, so even in a deck able to toolbox it
consistently, multiples can prove worthwile. All in
all the level 5 to 8 "Infernoid" monsters are a
colony's most reliable attackers, sporting good
stats, and a cheap summoning requirement compared to
tomorrow's card.
Playability: 3/5. I. Seitsemas needs to remain on
the field at the end of the battle phase to gain its
removal effect, and this can be quite a chore - I.
Attondel is generally considered this group's
primary boon.

Yesterday you saw Special Summoning a Level 4
Infernoid required the removal of one Infernoid
Monster (that goes for below level 4 also).
Today, you'll see you need to remove two for a Level
7 or 8 (and 3 for a 9 or 10). Seitsemas is a
Level 7 Monster, all these guys are Fire attributed
Fiend type Monsters if memory serves. This guy
has 2600 attack and 0 defense (the 0 attack or
defense theme will be very common also). The
first half of that mass of print on this card covers
what I just said for Special Summoning plus all the
other things we read yesterday. If this card
attacks, at the end of the Battle Phase, you can
remove one card on the Field from play. Said
effect can only be activated at the end of the
Battle Phase. Once a turn, during either
players' turn, you can Tribute a Monster you
control, and remove a card from your opponent's
Graveyard from play. That's what these guys
do, they devastate your resources piece by piece,
and then start removing stuff. This guy is
obviously good as he benefits from his high attack
score also. As referenced yesterday, you are
going to get more Monsters and support for these
guys, so they I feel are at least something worth
trying out.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Seitsemas requiring two “Infernoid” monsters to be
banished could lead to it becoming a dead card in
the hand. Banishing a card on the field can help
eliminate protective monsters, monsters that gain
effects off being destroyed or sent to the
graveyard, or rid the field of a face-up/face-down
s/t opponents were looking to use. With its strong
ATK it likely won't be bouncing off any defensive
monsters, but it can clear away a monster for
another “Infernoid” to attack after using its
banishing effect. It's worth noting that Seitsemas
can banish any card on the field, even your own,
though you probably won't be doing that.
The graveyard removal at the cost of a tribute is
always useful with the reliance on the graveyard
from many top decks. The tributing of a monster on
your side can be supplemented by the fact that you
can use tokens. If “Infernoid” monsters are the only
thing to tribute, you can combo this with archetype
specific cards to maintain advantage.
