Shared Ride
- #LVAL-EN070

After this card resolves, each time your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck or Graveyard to their hand this turn, except by drawing them, you immediately draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Shared Ride" per turn.

T-REX Shared Ride

This card is the perfect card to use against Decks that can search their Deck numerous times per turn and in many ways is able to be as entirely effective as Maxx “C” but sometimes even more so.

Any Deck that is “Meta” or “Tier” can add cards to their hand reliably, and this is why Shared Ride like Mondays card of Mind Crush is seeing so much play currently.

As many may suspect, the Deck that this card performs best against is Nekroz as they can effectively search for a needed card in their Deck and add it to their hand. Here Shared Ride is quite likely to plus more consistently.
Against anything else it is at the very least able to ensure that it breaks even and may prevent them from adding more cards to their hand, although against Qliphort, this seems to be less the case overall.

This is a fantastic card for the Side Deck and a common sight in many.

Rating: 4.25. If you are playing Nekroz, strongly expect this card to be Sided against you.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Shared Ride is a card that works like "Maxx C". A Quick-Play instead of an Effect Monster, Shared Ride allows you a draw for each card that is added to your opponents hand from their deck or graveyard during the turn this card is activated.

Like "Maxx C", this card is great at giving you hand advantage while punishing your opponent. This card works best against a deck that does a lot of searching and adding from the deck or graveyard. Nekroz and  Qliphorts come to mind when I think of Shared Ride. A chained Shared Ride can prevent your opponent from going all-out. If your opponent was going to add a bunch of cards to their hand this turn, they may be less incline to do so if they know they can't finish you and are against giving you free cards. This card should always be a 1-for-1 at the least, with the power of becoming much more.

Potentially devastating if combined with "Maxx C", Shared Ride has a place in the format in the Side Deck of most players.

Shared Ride isn't really Tech, it's more of a possibly useful card against one or two certain specific Decks.  Tech should be useful in any Deck against any other Deck...Shared Ride is not.  This was also a fairly recent review, and it wasn't very good or useful then.  It's still not that great to be honest.  This card had a lot of hype because of the potential to Draw a lot of cards.  Quickplay Magic cards are good.  Being dependent on what your opponent does usually is not, and here, it definitely is not.  There are two huge problems with this card.  First, either one, your opponent could simply not activate any of the criteria for you to Draw of this card, keeping in mind you need to Draw two cards to gain any advantage from this, and if your opponent doesn't do anything, it's just a -1.  Or second, they're going to do what they do, or business as usual, and break the hell out of it, giving you mass advantage card wise.  But likely the more cards you get from this, the closer you are to losing the Duel...that turn.

Shared Ride isn’t quite as old as other cards this week, but it has also become very popular with the rise of Nekroz. Essentially a Maxx “C” for searching, this card allows you to either stop Nekroz from doing all of their searching or accumulate draws as they continue to set up. Either situation is good for you.

Unlike Mind Crush, though, Shared Ride is really only good against Nekroz, as it’s the only one that thrives off of searching multiple times per turn. Decks like Qliphort and Satellarknight can get by with a single search, and most other Decks are in the same boat (if they search at all). You’ll generally find Shared Ride in Nekroz Decks to combat the mirror while also accelerating your own game (and because Nekroz only really needs to worry about the mirror and Qliphort), but in most other cases you will usually see Mind Crush in other Decks.

Regardless, Shared Ride is still a solid card. Much like Maxx “C” before it, it’ll drop in and out of use as the meta demands.
