Not every support card is going to be great.  Kozmo's got 3 new solid monsters.  DOG Fighter is, without a doubt, is the weakest Kozmo monster from the new set, but I wouldn't call it an entirely bad card either.  It's an ultimately optional card a Kozmo player should be running 0 or 1 of.

The good news first, it's a Kozmo monster and all of the good Kozmo support cards apply to it.  It can also replace itself with one of the lower level Psychic monster.  But at 2000 ATK, it's the weakest of the high-level Kozmos and, while it's DEF is decent, DEF points don't matter much in Yugioh anymore.

It's effect of summoning a 2000 ATK token, is of course, good for helping an OTK (combined with this card, that's 4000 damage), but it happens during the Standby Phase meaning you cannot use this effect the turn you summon it.  Summoning DOG Fighter on your turn and waiting for your next turn is too slow.  Sliprider, Dark Destroyer (and even the low level Kozmos) have effects which activate rather quickly.  Your best bet is to summon Dogfighter during your opponent's turn with a searcher like Forerunner and then using the token offensively during your turn.  Still, more work than it's worth.

And it's going to be tough to find deck room for this card since you'll be needing 3 Dark Destroyers, 3 Forerunners, and Slipriders.

To be honest, if you want to push for extra damage just run Juragedo for f*** sakes.

This Kozmo probably should have been first or second reviewed, as the two best cards reviewed this week were yesterday and Wednesday, but I digress.  Kozmo DOG Fighter closes the week.  So we have a Dark, Machine Monster, who we wish had attack and defense switched, instead of the 2000/2400 we see.  So this guy changes things up some.  Once a turn during the Standby Phase, you get to Special Summon a Token.  All it's stats and such are identical to this card.  It's cool you can do whatever you want with the Token, such as Tribute, or attack (as it has 2000 attack) which likely plays into why this card does have 2000 attack itself.  If destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, via Battle or card effect, you can then remove the Fighter from the Graveyard from play, to Special Summon a Level 5 or lower Kozmo Monster from your Deck.  He's all right, simple as that.  Not bad by any means, but again, after looking at the great cards, he's not particularly GOOD either.

Yay Dog puns! I'm sure Michael Vick loves this card. Anyway, Kozmo DOG Fighter is a Level 6 Dark Machine-type Monster with 2000 Atk and 2400 Def. While other Kozmo cards are completely essential, this one's stats are a bit lacking. 2000 Atk just isn't enough. Kinda of meh, which is disappointing for a Friday. However, there is no need to take this card behind the barn and shoot it.

There are two effects on this DOG Fighter. The problem with summoning a token clone is that it happens once per turn during the Standby Phase. The way the ships are supposed to operate is fast and furious and not linger on the field. The second effect is to banish this card when it hits the Graveyard from being destroyed by battle or effect. Then you can Special Summon a Level 5 or lower Kozmo monster from the deck. That effect is still great, but overall, this DOG needs new tricks.

Score: 3/5 Sit ubu sit, Good DOG.

Art: 2/5 I'm more of a CAT person myself.

Snodin “Fly, my pretties! FLY!” -Wicked Witch of the West

I'm a little disappointed. When I read the name for this card, I thought it was going to be Toto. I mean come on, the word “DOG” is right there and capitalized! Instead, it's apparently based on the flying monkeys. Why? Because like the monkeys, it comes in swarms!

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can basically “clone” this card by summoning a Token with the exact same ATK and DEF as this one (2000/2400). That might not sound so great when you compare 2000 to other ATK points, but if you manage to get this card on the field early on, you can esenttially mow down weaker monsters before your opponent can summon a bigger threat. And like any good Kozmo monster, you can banish him... it.... from the Grave to grab and summon a Level 5 or lower Kozmo monster. Which is good, because it seems as though Kozmo monsters are just getting better and better with each new release.

You could say that this deck is... boldly going where no deck has gone before! (*gets slapped)

Whoops, I meant... going to infinity and beyond! (*gets slapped again)

Come into the light, Carol Anne! (*slapped again)

I'll stop now. (pouty, red face)

Final Score: 4/5
