 Void Imagination
- #CORE-EN063

"Infernoid" monsters you control whose original Levels are 2 or higher become Level 1 and all battle damage they inflict to your opponent is halved. You can send this card to the Graveyard; Fusion Summon 1 "Infernoid" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or your side of the field as Fusion Materials. If your opponent controls a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and you do not, you can also use up to 6 monsters in your Deck as Fusion Materials.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Void Imagination is the kind of card that opens up different avenues for the player to travel.

Combo it with our card from yesterday and you could have various Synchro and Xyz options that weren't available due to the high levels most Infernoids are. Halving the battle damage isn't something most players like to do unless there's a positive coming from doing so, sadly there isn't with this card. A Fusion Summoning card as well? Great! Clear the hand and field of Infernoid monsters for a Fusion Summon, then Special Summon from the grave for more swarming possibilities.

The best effect may be the last one though, as it offers big play possibilities. Opponent has a monster from the Extra Deck (almost a certainty in any game), no problem. Drop this card, and you can use monsters from your deck like Shaddoll Fusion does and Fusion Summon out an Infernoid Fusion monster. While  Infernoid Tierra is the only Fusion Infernoid at the moment, its abilities can stack dramatically with this card. Use Void Imagination to drop six Infernoids into your grave, then use four from your hand/field to Special Summon Tierra, then activate its effects one by one. After that, Special Summon more Infernoids that you dumped into your graveyard and go for game.

It is a jack-of-all trades for Infernoids. Fusion summoning power, level-altering ability for Synchro and Xyz plays, and can be used to dump a ton of monsters into your grave from the deck to set up huge plays.

"Mean and Evil"

The sun shall be darkened, | earth sinks in the sea,--
Glide from the heaven | the glittering stars;
Smoke-reek rages | and reddening fire:
The high heat licks | against heaven itself.

As so many ancient sources foretold, the world will end in fire, and I'm here to tell you that Infernoid Tierra is upon us. With the process of our evolution reaching a virtual standstill - as was inevitable, so predicted the Tierra itself - the only way forward is the lake of fire, that new life may sprout. Fear not, for the coming of Infernoid Tierra is merely the continuation of the world's eternal circular motion, and our memories will be shared among the people of new.

But those who heard the word need not worry, as Infernoid Tierra will not harm those who do not oppose her to begin with; as such for those unlucky enough not to have heard of her legacy, to be washed away by waves of heat and smoke, is to be seen as their own foolish choice.

Infernoid Tierra's chariot of Void Imagination, truly a blessing for the "Infernoid", as the ultimate punishment for those who dare oppose them, provides the flames of purgatory with a fuel flammable enough to envelop any such an offender in eternal fire, once Infernoid Tierra falls and calls her hellish followers once more - they wrote the information required for her summon, and in return she will provide them the means to burn eternally through her own body. A second chariot, or just the manipulation of Void Vanishment, will allow her to let go of her physical restrictions and combine the powers of the "Infernoid" to make the battlefield a conflagration that reaches for the roof of the world, granting a blazing victory to those who revived her.

Elder Entity N'tss will follow, although she is not yet in position. She possesses the ability to instantly release Infernoid Tierra when the deity calls on her, ensuring that the "Infernoid" will make the world shine like a star from the darkness below.

Void Imagination is an interesting Continuous Spell Card. The first effect allows Infernoid monsters to swarm because they can only be summoned when the levels on the field are low enough. Bring all the levels of Infernoid monster that were originally 2 or higher down to 1, but all of their battle damage is halved. Since this is continuous, it will effect future summons. Including the fusion Infernoid monster. Speaking of which, Infernoid Tierra gains effects based on how many Infernoid monsters you use for it's Fusion Summon. This card allows you to go through the deck to get up to 6 monsters in your deck as Fusion Materials if your opponent controls an Extra Deck summoned monster. However, you have to send Void Imagination to the Graveyard. If they don't control a monster from the summoned from the Extra deck, you can still use monsters on your field or in your hand. Versatility is good. This card is a good way to quickly and consistently get a good Fusion Monster to the field. I think the name should have been Void Imagined Fusion to gain some of the Fusion support that is out there, but it's still good.

So this card is really a great card for the type of deck it is meant for. I have seen the deck played alot before (never played it myself) but just onr of the key cards is using monsters from you deck to fusion summon is a big thing. Not really much to say other than a good card for a good arctype. Ps. Really need to play some of the newer decks.

What do you mean “Void my imagination?” My imagination is my life!! …..Oh.... Oh, you meant the card. Nevermind.

Unlike Infernoid Decatron, this card relies on other Infernoids in order to work. Basically it helps you get your Fusion Infernoids out faster, and it can potentially help you thin the deck if certain requirements are met (the whole 6 monsters from deck thing).

However, I think its very first effect may be a hinderance to the deck, as it makes presently on-field Infernoids weaker in battle. It also requires you to send this card to the Graveyard to do its better effects, so that just seems strange to me. Infernoids in general are pretty strange and most are really hard to summon, but if this card really helps then I don't see why you wouldn't use it in your Infernoid deck.

Final Score: 4/5
