Luster Pendulum the Dracoslayer
In an era with Pendulums on the rise, this card will
be very useful. Destroying a Pendulum to fill
up your Extra Deck and then adding 1 to your hand.
This is particularly useful for abusing once per
turn effects: Summon another Pendulum, activate it's
effects, use Luster to destroy it, add another copy
of it to your hand, and activate it. It's a
low cost easy to use card that can increase the
consistency of the deck and set up combos.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer has decent stats,
attribute, and type as a monster, but it is better
in the Pendulum Zone. A lesser version of Archfiend
Eccentrick, you destroy this card and a card of your
own, then replace it with a copy of itself. This can
be a combo starter, activating effects of monsters
like Shaddoll and Yang Zings that activate upon
destruction. It ends up as a -1 unless using it for
its combo ability, which would be the only reason to
use this monster. Players would rather play
Archfiend Eccentrick because it destroys your
opponents resources instead of your own in an effort
to combo. Players who benefit from destruction
effects don't usually need to destroy their own
cards, they force their opponent to.
A fun card that can be useful if you want to get rid
of a card on your field because it's preventing you
from progressing (Skill Drain) or a monster is
affected by something like Fiendish Chain.

Wow do we have some great stats
for a monster. Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer is a
Level 4 Light Dragon-type tuner Pendulum Monster
with 1850 Atk and 0 Def. All of that is usually
great, but it's effect makes it extremely limited.
At least you can Pendulum Summon whatever you want
between 5 and the other scale. It has 1850 Atk which
lets it beat out other 1800 monsters. It is also a
good target for Honest after it is Pendulum
Summoned.
Why is this limited. Its
monster effect says you can only use this as
material for Dracoslayer monsters. There is only
one. It's ok, but even if it was great, that card
would score well while this card scores low because
of how restricted it is. Its Pendulum Spell effect
is more useful. You can destroy your other Pendulum
scale to search another one to your hand with the
same name. This could work with Igknights, but I
don't think they need this.
Score: 2/5 Maybe later, this
will do better.
Art: 5/5 Light Dragon Hero with
Shield and Sword! Nice!
