Lunalight Tiger
Tiger is a solid supporting piece for Lunalights,
but doesn’t do anything special. The pendulum effect
to summon a dead piece from the grave is nice when
you have Poly in hand or you have a Blue Cat (or
another Tiger) in grave that can be destroyed for a
plus at the end phase. But because pendulum
summoning is rarely done in Lunalight decks (thanks
to Wolf’s very restrictive presence), Tiger doesn’t
give that extra oomph that pendulum monsters
normally provide over other continuous spell cards.
And since Tiger doesn’t go the grave, reusing her
monster effect is also rare. What else can be said?
Overall Tiger isn’t as important as Wolf to the
theme, even though at least 1-2 copies should be
used in every variation of Lunalights. Her abilities
are too passive for the current insanely speedy
environment, and until more Lunalight pendulums are
released, she’s a nonfactor as a pendulum monster.
Sure she has the effect to summon a Lunalight
monster from the graveyard, including any of the
fusions, which is why she should always be included,
but relying on monsters to be destroyed in anything
other than Metalfoes decks never works out in the
long run. However, like Wolf, I give Tiger a half
tick more in future potential rating because I
expect future Lunalight support to come.

-
This card is
basically like Plushfire for
Lunalights.
-
It replaces
itself when destroyed as either a
monster and pendulum.
-
Since you can
revive monsters both when it's a
monster and a pendulum, it can be
used many times.
-
Since the
Pendulum effect is OPT, you
immediately recoup your card
advantage you used to play this
card.
-
Like all revival
cards, it may be weak early game,
but you don't need very many
Lunalights in grave to get this card
going.
-
This card is
essential for all Lunalight decks.
Use 3 of them.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Lunalight Tiger is a monster for the archetype that
facilitates more Fusion summons. Whether a monster
or a Pendulum Monster, Tiger is going to likely be
getting you another Lunalight to use for material
for a summon or card effect.
As a Pendulum Monster you can SS a Lunalight from
your grave, but being material for another summon or
card effect is all that monster will be good for, as
it can't attack and effect(s) are negated. This is
still a good effect, as you can Fusion summon
quickly in the deck, use the monster Special
Summoned as a tribute for a card effect/monster, or,
in the case of Lunalight Cat Dancer, gain an effect
off its destruction at the end of the turn. Use
Tiger's effect, Special Summon another Lunalight,
destroy Tiger with Luster Pendulum, the
Dracoslayer and get another to use its effect again,
setting up Cat Dancer.
As a monster you can Special Summon a Lunalight from
your grave upon Tiger's destruction in any fashion.
Now the Lunalight you summon will have an effect,
which gives you more options to work with. With
effects and attacking now available, Fusion Summons
can come quicker as well as swarming the field.
Tiger doesn't have much when it comes to ATK, and it
is one of only 2 LIGHT Lunalight monsters, so it
doesn't gel well with any DARK support you may be
packing in the deck, but Tiger will set up your
Fusion plays.

Lunalight Tiger is a Level 3 Light Beast-Warrior
type Pendulum monster with 1200 Atk and 800 Def and
Scales of 5. I don't know why, but I wish this
monster was a Tuner. A Level 3 Tuner could have
really made up for the fact that the Scales of 5
can't Pendulum Summon the other themed Pendulum
monster from yesterday. Both Pendulum Lunalights are
Light so again, no Allure of Darkness. 1200 Atk is
laughable. The stats are bad, and the effects are
really bad to be drawn during the first turn.
The Pendulum effect doesn't restrict the monsters
that can be Pendulum Summoned, which is good. The
real effect is once per turn Lunalight Tiger can
target to Special Summon a heavily neutered
Lunalight monster from the grave. That monster
doesn't have effects, can't attack, and is destroyed
during the End Phase. Unless you have the benefit of
going second, this card won't help you OTK in the
first turn. Either the grave isn't set up yet or no
attacking. The monster effect is certainly better,
but again, not during the turn of no attacking. If
Tiger is destroyed from the field, it can Special
Summon a Lunalight monster except itself. This
effect is a hard once per turn and targets the
monster in the grave. However, the Lunalight Special
Summoned has no restrictions, and this effect can be
activated during the opponent's turn.
The only good effect is the monster effect, but even
that is problematic with removal cards that don't
destroy existing everywhere. Run 2 at most in
Lunalights.
