Destiny Hero Dystopia
- #DESO-EN0042 "Destiny HERO" monsters
If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower "Destiny HERO" monster in your Graveyard; inflict damage to your opponent equal to that target's ATK. During either player's turn, if this card's current ATK is different from its original ATK (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it, and if you do, this card's ATK becomes equal to this card's original ATK. You can only use each effect of "Destiny HERO - Dystopia" once per turn.

Destiny Hero Dystopia
Again, I'm not seeing
any common interconnected
overarching theme with this
archetype. It
burns some damage based on a DHERO in grave, but
most LV4 and lower DHERO monsters
aren't that
strong to begin
with. Not bad for
some situational late game burn I guess. It
destroys a card when its
stats
are altered, so now a DHERO deck needs some equip
cards (or something) in
addition to
dozen other weird combos
the deck is tasked with
pulling off. Nice stats
I guess. No easy ways to
bring this card
out as far as I know. Mask Change II?
Meh, but Dark Law is better most of the
time.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Destiny HERO – Dystopia is the first fusion for the
Destiny Hero archetype.
Any two Destiny HERO monsters is a great advantage
to allow you access to this boss monster. Burn
damage upon Special Summon is a nice touch. CoTD,
Soul Charge, etc. will give you more chances to
reuse the burn effect Dystopia has. Level 4 or lower
Destiny HERO gives you several choices for targets.
Diamond Dude immediately comes to mind. If you
change Dystopia's ATK you can destroy a card once
per turn, before returning its ATK to its original
2800. Either turn is great, and you can use both of
Dystopia's effects once per turn, increasing your
potential damage with this card. Summon, do burn
damage, change the ATK somehow to then destroy a
card.
D-HERO Dystopia is easy to summon, can be repeatedly
summoned, rewards you for it each time, and has a
new and unique effect revolving around ATK change.
There are many ways to change the ATK of this
monster, so its destruction effect shouldn't be a
problem.

Destiny Hero - Dystopia is a Level 8 Dark
Warrior-type Fusion Monster with 2800 Atk and 2400
Def. The stats are exactly what they should be. Even
the requirement of any 2 Destiny Hero monsters for
its Fusion Summon is not that bad. It also has two
decent effects. But they can only be used once per
turn.
The first effect triggers when Destiny Hero -
Dystopia is Special Summoned. You get to inflict
damage equal to a targeted D Hero Monster's attack
in the grave so long as it's Level 4 or lower.
Currently that means at most 1600 Damage, but damage
is damage. During either player's turn, Dystopia can
change its attack back to its original attack if it
has changed. You have to do that after successfully
targeting to destroy any card on the field. Targeted
destruction is problematic, but having an effect
that triggers after they try to mess with Dystopia's
Atk is good. I don't think it needs to be run at
more than 2, but the first effect could turn a
Polymerization into 1600 Burn Damage. Not bad for a
beater that stays a beater.

Tuesday
Destiny HERO-Dystopia is a Dark, Level 8 Fusion,
with 2800 attack and 2400 defense. Fusion
Summoned generically with two Destiny Hero Monsters.
So, if Special Summoned, you target a Level 4
Destiny Hero from your Graveyard and inflict Damage
to your opponent equal to the attack of that
Monster. Free burn Damage is good, and it's
not likely to be much (probably 1000 or so on the
average) but could be more if you use something like
Diamond Dude. Also, during either player's
turn, if this cards attack is different than its
original attack, you can destroy one card on the
Field. Said card is targeted, always worth
noting. Then, Dystopia's attack returns to
normal. Dystopia isn't game breaking, but he's
not awful either. The 2800 is nice, a modest
burn effect, and a not too difficult I suppose
destruction effect. There are better Fusions,
but certainly worse ones too.
