Hello Pojo Fans,
Power Rangers theme week continues on Pojo with my
personal favorite ranged in the form of Super
Quantum Green Layer.
Swarm ability upon its summon, dropping another
Super Quant from your hand to the field. Once it
hits the grave in any fashion, you can discard a
Super Quant card to draw a card. Set up combos
involving the graveyard while drawing new options
any time this monster goes to the graveyard is a
very good effect. Blue Layer can add Green back to
the deck, while Red Layer will add Green back to the
hand. Foolish Burial Green Layer, discard a card to
draw, Special Summon Red Layer and add Green back to
your hand.
Advanced-3.5/5- Unlike Red which could be played
without any other Super Quant cards, the other
layers revolve around the archetype strategy.

Super Quantum Green Layer is fitting on the first
day of March, a very green month. It's a Level 4
Wind Spellcaster-type monster with 1600 Atk and 1400
Def. The disparate levels of these monsters make it
difficult to XYZ without the Field Spell Card.
However, Level 4 is still the best for making other
Rank 4 plays. This needs to be Wind in order to get
its corresponding XYZ ship from the Extra Deck. The
other stats are irrelevant because this deck is
trying very hard to get XYZ monsters on the field,
not keep the Layers on the field.
Super Quantum Green Layer has 2 effects that can
only be activated once per turn. The first one
occurs when Green Layer is Normal or Special
Summoned. You get to Special Summon any Super Quant
monster from your hand. All of the layers have ways
of putting Super Quant cards in your hand or grave.
Feel free to Special Summon another Green Layer. The
second effect activates in the Graveyard with a cost
of a discarded Super Quant monster. You get to draw
one card. Foolish Burial belongs in this deck and
this is the only themed draw option. But, it doesn't
really work in other decks even with that awesome
Level 4.

Green: "Guys! I need backup, like, right now!"
Blue (from hand): "You just got there."
Green: "JUST GET HERE!"
That's the vibe I get from this card; literally the
moment he hits the field, be it Normal or Special
summon, he lets you summon another "Super Quant"
from hand. He must be the kid/rookie/sidekick of the
group.
But that's good for you, because the mechs are all
XYZ summons and are undoubtedly the bread and butter
of this theme. Greenie even lets you draw a card
when he dies, but the downside there is that you
need to discard another "Super Quantum" card to do
it. You're going to need all the support cards you
can get, because like I said before, this theme is
very small. If that changes in the future then I'd
be more inclined to use the draw effect. But for
now...
Score: 4/5, 5/5 if more SQ cards come out
