Super Quantal Mech Ship Magnacarrier
- #WIRA-EN038Discard 1 card, then target 1 "Super Quantum" monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monster with the same Attribute as that monster you control by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon.) You can send this card from the Field Zone to the Graveyard, then target 3 "Super Quantal Mech Beast" Xyz Monsters with different names you control and/or in your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus" from your Extra Deck, and if you do, attach the targeted monsters and their Materials to it as Xyz Materials.

Hello Pojo Fans,
All Rangers...I mean Super Quantums need a weapon to
aid them in their defense of justice, and today we
profile one: the Field Spell Super Quantal Mech Ship
Magnacarrier.
At a cost of only one card (any card) you can
Special Summon an Xyz monster within the “Super
Quantum” archetype that matches an Attribute of a
“Super Quantum” monster on your field. The monster
you targeted to match Attributes with becomes a
material for the newly Xyz Summoned monster. Any
card that allows you to perform Xyz monsters without
needing all of the monsters required on the field is
a good card. You can do this as many times per turn
as you want, which is even better with the Special
Summon capabilities of the Super Quantum monsters.
The potential to have 5 Xyz monsters on your field
is out there if you have enough cards. The final
great thing this card does is that you can move it
to the grave and use your “Mech Beast” Xyz monsters
(field and grave) to Special Summon the big boss of
the monster: Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus
and use the Mech Beasts you targeted as materials.
You can do all of this the turn you play this card
which is unbelievable.
This card does so many things well, the only
downside it has is being a Field Spell that has no
inherited protection. Aside from that, it allows you
Xyz Summons on top of Xyz Summons you will be likely
doing already.
Advanced-4/5
Art-3.5/5- Zenith Carrierzord this is like,
but I'll always have a soft spot for Titanus and
Tor.

Whoo what a name. Super Quantal
Mech Ship Magnacarrier is the Super Quant Field
Spell. There are only 2 effects on this card, and I
believe they could have been better. The first
effect is how Super Quantum monsters become Super
Quantal Mech Beasts. You discard a card and target a
Super Quantum monster to XYZ Summon a corresponding
Attribute Super Quantal Mech Beast XYZ monster. So
the cost shouldn't be a problem because the Super
Quantum monsters have effects that activate when
they hit the grave from anywhere. Also, the layer
does become a Material on the new XYZ monster.
However, I still feel this is too restrictive. I
think Super Quantal Fairy Alphan should have had an
on field effect to change its Attribute, and its
name should have been Super Quantum. Or this card
could change some category of monster into Super
Quantum named monster.
Anyway, the second effect does
not count as an XYZ Summon, so I am already unhappy.
You send Super Quantal Mech Ship Magnacarrier from
the Field Zone to the Graveyard to target three
Super Quantal Mech Beasts with different names that
you control or in your grave. Then you can Special
Summon the boss monster, Mech King Great Magnus, and
use the targets and their materials as the boss'
materials. That boss does need a lot of materials,
but losing the Field Spell is a problem. Targeted
XYZ monsters can be chained and removed so that this
effect fizzles. My last complaint is that the boss
monster can't be Special Summoned later since it
wasn't considered properly XYZ Summoned first. Oh
well, it's still better than 3 Level 12 monsters.
Score: 3/5 I know you need it,
but it could have been better.
Art: 4/5 Nostalgia is real.

Super Quantal Mech Ship Magnacarrier
Wow, what a name! And it's a Field Spell, which lets
you know that this new deck theme means business.
The first effect is arguably the best: by discarding
one card, you essentially act out your favorite
anime-ish show, be it Voltron, Power Rangers, or
even Gundam if you prefer. What I'm saying is, you
can cheat the usual XYZ summoning by choosing one
Super Quantum on the field (Red, Green or Blue), and
then Special Summon their matching XYZ mechs with
the Layer of choice as its one XYZ material. This is
especially good for the red mech as it requires two
level 5 monsters.
Why I say this is the best of the effects this card
has, it's because the mechs are essentially the
theme's bread and butter. Summoning them at just the
right time can move the duel in your favor, and in
very little time. But that's just half of what
Magnacarrier does.
By sending this card from the Field Zone to the
grave, you target three quantum mechs in the grace,
Special Summon their Mega form "Great Magnus," and
use the three mechs as its XYZ material. Amazing,
right? Yeah it is, but the reason for that is....
Well, we'll get to Great Magnus later, I'm sure.
I know I sound like a broken record by now, but this
is a must have card for its theme. Only this time, I
really and truly mean it! Maybe later on we'll have
more of a variety in the Layers and their Mechs, but
even if that does happen, there is no reason why you
shouldn't play this Field in the deck. Run three, in
fact.
Score: Solid 5/5
