Frightfur Tiger is the first “Frightfur” monster profiled on Pojo. With 9 targets to fulfill one of the fusion requirements (6 of them EARTH-based), having monsters available for the Fusion Summon of this monster shouldn't be hard. Edge Imp Sabres can also be filled in using a Fusion-substitute if needed, or it can be thrown into the graveyard and then Special Summoned later using its effect.
 
The more “Fluffal” monsters you use in the Fusion Summon, the better. Controlled extensive destruction is a great effect to have upon summoning, and with at least one card being destroyed when Fusion Summoned, Frightfur Tiger has removal power. Regarding easier massive field clearing potential, use “Frightfur Fusion” to use “Fluffal” monsters and even Edge Imp Sabers in your graveyard for the summon, conserving on the field “Fluffal” monsters. A late-game “Frightfur Fusion can clear the entire board. Tiger can get rid of your own cards as well, activating their effects or clearing spaces for more-needed cards. “Fluffal Mouse” can make this summon easier as well. Activate its effect, Special Summon 2 more copies of “Fluffal Mouse”, then Fusion Summon Tiger and destroy up to 4 cards on the field (Edge Imp Sabres can't be Special Summoned this turn due to “Fluffal Mouse” effect).
 
Tiger can increase its attack, but you need to keep those “Fluffal” monsters on the field. Frightfur monsters give it a boost as well, making certain that Tiger will be at least 2400 after its summoning. If you need just an attacker you can also use “Instant Fusion” to summon this monster without activating its effect.
 
A great monster for its archetype, but that's about it.

Reviewing Fusion monsters always makes me miss Shaddolls. Frightfur Tiger is a Level 6 Dark Fiend-type Fusion Monster with 1900 Atk and 1200 Def. Frightfurs and Fluffals have some funky support, so the name is good. I believe the stats are low for a Level 6 monster. This tiger is Fusion Summoned with a name specific Edge Imp Sabres and 1 or more other Fluffal monsters. Since it has a name, Fusion Conscription could come into play. 
 
After a successful Fusion Summon, you can target and destroy cards on the field up to the number of Materials used for the Fusion Summon. With many things being immune to destruction or targeting (or both) it is good to know that you can pop a bunch of back row threats or your own scales. I say a bunch because the ideal scenario is to use Frightfur Fusion to banish cards from the graveyard to Fusion Summon this card for maximum destruction. I would have preferred the effect to have been on Special Summon, but that might be too good. Finally, for every Frightfur and Fluffal monster you control, Frightfur monsters gain 300 Atk. So, with the right swarm, this card could target things in the way and attack for decent damage.

I've been lucky to get my paws on some actual copies of this and yesterday's card so that I can look at them more thoroughly. And already, I'm seeing an improvement over Tzolkin; Frightfur Tiger seems way more easy to summon and WAY more fun to play with. You can fuse as many Fluffal monsters as you want with Edge Imp Sabres, and you can potentially wipe your opponent's field clean based on how many Fluffals you've just fused Tiger with. The effect also works on your own cards- meaning, you could destroy them too, but that's only if you feel the need to do so. The option's there, just Saiyan.
 
This card also has a power boost: all Frightfurs get +300 ATK for each Fluffal and Frightfur monster you control, so really this bad kitty starts with 2200 ATK from its own boost. A good monster to start with early on, and it only gets stronger with the more Fluffals/Frightfurs on the field. The theme still isn't all that competitive, but this is a step in the right direction.
