Kozmo Scaredy Lion
- #SHVI-EN082During either player's turn: You can banish this card; Special Summon 1 Level 3 or higher "Kozmo" monster from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Kozmo Scaredy Lion" once per turn. Once per turn: You can pay 500 LP, then target 3 of your banished "Kozmo" monsters; return them to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

This card is really pointless for the deck.
* It generates no card advantage, and is
arguably a -1
* The life point damage it does is negligible
* It's useless without a revival or
rexovery card to combo with ; very situational.
* You can just add banished cards to your hand
with Kozmotown
* You can just send Kozmos to the grave with other
cards like Tincan instead of banishing then first.
* If this card's effect were really necessary, at
least some people would have used Burial from a
Different Dimension before this came out.
* Monster space is tight for Kozmos.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Kozmo's are up this week on CoTD and first we got a
new Kozmo: Kozmo Scaredy Lion.
Lion has all the standard bells and whistles the
non-Machine Kozmo monsters have with Special
Summoning higher level Kozmos from your hand during
either players turn via banishing itself. However,
its real usefulness may be in its ability to return
3 banished Kozmos to the grave and then do 500
damage to the opponent, all at the cost of 500 Life
Points damage to you. Lion can provide fodder for
Dark Eclipser and Dark Planet, as well as work with
Soartroopers.
Kozmotown, though recycling banished Kozmos for a
higher potential cost, as well as only 1 instead of
3 at a time, is a better card because of its ability
to shuffle back any number of Kozmos and redraw.
Scaredy Lion may be worth running one copy of to
playtest, but the typical build is pretty packed as
is.

Kozmo Scaredy Lion is bad. It is a Level 2 Light
Psychic-type monster with 1200 Atk and 500 Def. Low
everything and this card also suffers from the "I'd
always rather draw something else" issue that future
support will have to get over.
The first effect is the usual banish pilot to get
higher Level Kozmo monster Special Summoned from the
Hand. The effect that distinguishes Scaredy Lion is
to inflict only 500 points of damage to the opponent
after it targets three banished Kozmo monsters and
returns them to the grave. Not up to 3. If you don't
have the 3, then you can't use the effect. I didn't
even mention that this effect costs 500 Life Points
to activate, resulting in a 0 difference between the
opponent's and the player's Life points. If it had
been 500 Life Points per monster, then we would have
something worth using. Run Poison of the Old Man
instead of this.
Score: 1/5 Gagaga Cowboy for game.
Art: 4/5 TCG exclusive artwork is really good.

Monday
It's Kozmo week! Kozmo Scaredy Lion opens the
week...how ironic, that a Lion would be so scaredy,
but what a delicious pun also, scaredy cat...and the
cat happens to be a Lion. So let's see,
Psychic, which is fun and has plenty of support.
Light, also well supported. Level 2, 1200
attack and 500 defense. Not likely to win many
contests on either front there. This guy is
great for the theme though. Both of his
effects really make the engine of this Deck work.
First, you can remove this card from play to Special
Summon a Level 3 or higher Kozmo from your Hand.
Trading in this guy for something stronger and
better is a good effect, although if you had both in
your Hand, why wouldn't you just Summon that card
instead? The second effect is gold though,
being able to return three of your Kozmo Monsters that
have been removed from play, back to your Graveyard,
and it even burns your opponent for 500 Damage.
This is a great version of how a card doesn't have
to be strong to still be an asset for a Deck.
Rating: 3.25/5

I guess that metal dog is a bit intimidating, but
the lion is six times his size. If he sat or
even fell on him, his problem would likely be over.
