Flash Fusion
Well this card is just bad, isn’t it? A quick-play
version of Polymerization that doesn’t count as
Polymerization, can only use monsters you have on
the field, and the monster dies at end phase. Yikes.
I will just say one thing about this. While it’s
clearly useless now, this could very well be
abusable in the future should a theme come along
that stacks fusions into higher fusions and leads to
a monster that can’t be destroyed by card effects (a
la Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon), thus lending to OTK’s,
summoning during opponent turns, and other
shenanigans. But for now, this card is not useable.

Pros: It's very quick,
chainable, can be used during the Battle Phase for
more attacks/damage, can be used during the
opponent's turn to protect your monsters or disrupt
the opponent.
Cons: You can't use materials
from your hand, so it's more situational, detracts
from field presence and may take up your Normal
Summon to use properly. It still requires 3 of
your resources (2 materials + the card) and it
destroys the monster you do summon. It's a -3
unless you're using an archetype that can float.
Even then, it's going to have to do a lot of
floating to make up for these downsides.
If the card let you draw a card
during the End Phase (or something to help replenish
the player's advantage), I would have given it a
higher score. Right now, it has some benefits,
but a lot of risks.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Flash Fusion is a forgotten card that could be
helpful to Shaddoll decks since El Shaddoll Fusion
and Super Polymerization was hit by the ban list a
few lists ago.
Fusion Summon a monster, it gets destroyed during
your End Phase. Shaddolls need a Quick-Play Fusion
card to give them protection against opponent card
effects, and while the monster will meet its end
unless affected by a card like Safe Zone, the player
will still get a card off of their Shaddoll Fusion
Monster. A quick version of Polymerization is what
any deck that uses fusion monsters would like.
Attack with your monsters, then use Flash Fusion to
get another attack in. It can be a game-ending card,
or just a card to get some extra damage.
It works well in Shaddols. You'll get your Shaddoll
effects, gain a fusion monster, another attack, then
get a card to replace your Shaddoll after it is
destroyed.

I miss Super Polymerization. But we are probably
never getting it back. Instead there is Instant
Fusion to get Norden which is not a Quickplay Spell.
For a Quickplay generic Fusion Summon there is Flash
Fusion. Flash Fusion can only use monsters you
control. Polymerization allows cards in your Hand as
well. Flash Fusion destroys the monster you Fusion
Summoned during the End Phase. However, some Fusion
monsters can't be destroyed, so they are immune. Or
you could use De-Fusion after attacking for some
major damage. Flash Fusion has no cost and no
restrictions on frequency of use. I was thinking
this could be splashed in some Dark Magician deck
for OTKs, but I don't know if it would work. There
are decks that would appreciate this card, but those
decks are average, so Flash Fusion is average.
Score: 3/5 It's better than some of the theme fusion
cards out there.
Art: 4/5 Blindingly Bright Polymerization.
