Welcome to Trump week, where we
look at the 5 most popular Wall cards. Will
any of these walls be suitable for border
protection? Let's find out.
Imperial Iron Wall is a special
kind of wall that prevents banishing. It
prevents your cards from being banished, so they're
still in play in the graveyard. It also
prevents the opponent from banishing their own cards
as costs and such. The card is reactive.
As a Continuous Trap, it unfortunately means that
cards like Twin Twister and Mystical Space Typhoon
can disrupt it, but at the same time, it could
potentially be a floodgate that hurts the opponent
for several turns and even one that wins you the
duel. It has a specific niche use of
preventing certain plays. It's not good for
general offense, defense or control but it can be
devastating at the right moments, making it a very
good side deck choice (depending on the deck, meta
and matchups).
For border security, a giant
wall made of iron would definitely keep people out.
It's imperial, so it's the best of quality.
The downside is that having an all-metal wall can
get very pricy for the taxpayer, plus the millions
of gallons of CLR that one must use to get rid of
the rust. So, no good.
But as a card, I give it a
4/5. It's always been a good card.
It's meta dependent but it always has a way of
becoming relevant again.
