Elemental HERO Honest Neos
As first, I wasn’t high on Elemental HERO Honest
Neos, but my eyes were opened by what it could do
when coupled with searchers like Stratos and Vyon. I
guess living in America has made me forget that some
people still get to use Stratos.
Honest Neos has more harmony with Heroes than I
first thought. Since it can be a great alternative
search when you already have Mist or other vital
Heroes that you need, it provides the same mental
halt to the opponent’s plans that the original
Honest does. When the opponent knows it exists, it
forces them to decide what’s important. Also, Honest
Neos serves as incredible fusion material, which I
hadn’t contemplated when I first read it. Not only
does he serve as the crucial light type to summon
The Shining, but he’s also a perfect target to
retrieve with Fusion Recovery. Honest Neos actually
enables many solid plays! When you think about it,
it actually makes a ton of sense. If there’s one
thing consistent about all the main deck Heroes,
it’s that nearly all of them have limited ATK
strength. Honest Neos makes up for that.
My one complaint about this card is that he doesn’t
count as Elemental HERO Neos. I think that was a
huge missed opportunity. But I won’t dwell on it too
much. This is a great monster that reinforces HERO
decks of all types and actually brings them closer
together.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Elemental HERO Honest Neos is what Kalut is to
Blackwings.
HERO monster gets a 2500 ATK boost until the end of
the turn through a discard of this monster. But,
unlike Kalut, this monster gains its own effect
ability when in combination with another HERO
monster. Ditch a HERO, E-HERO Honest Neos gains its
ATK until the end of the turn. This card is good, as
it is a Kalut for any HERO, lending more ATK boost
support when HEROS only had Honest for LIGHT
attribute HERO monsters. Now any HERO can gain an
extra 2500 ATK, which is huge in a battle. 2500 in
addition to its own ATK is enough to take down most
monsters in the game. Giving Honest Neos the added
benefit of having the same ability to help it while
it is on the field is a 1-2 punch Kalut never got.
Searchable as well, combo with Honest, Honest Neos
will find itself in many HERO decks and is support
they needed.

Monday
Well a week off, but I'm back again, at least for
this week. Hero week, more or less, so let's
get into it, with Elemental HERO Honest Neos.
So 2500 attack, Level 7, Warrior, Light...but a
couple of large effects here. It can be
discarded during either players' turn, and a Hero
you target gains 2500 attack, which should be a
gigantic boost to take down about anything it may be
opposing. Or you can boost this card, by
discarding a Hero to increase his own attack by the
amount of the attack of the card you choose to
discard until the End Phase. He has all the
obvious benefits and support of HERO archtype, and
he's a great asset, even in a crowded one.
