Hello Pojo Fans,
Waterfall of Dragon Souls is some needed support for
Yang Zings to go with their recent Synchro monster.
Yang Zings lacked a direct search card for support
aside from their monsters. Waterfall is flexible,
giving you either a search option or a draw option.
Sending monsters from the field or hand to draw
cards is another option in addition to Yang Zing
Path, as well as set up Yang Zing Path for more
drawing. True King monsters are coming to the TCG
and can benefit from this card as well. You won't
plus off discarding your Wyrms if you are using Yang
Zings. However, if you combo Yang Zings with True
Kings you will. Play Waterfall and discard some of
your Yang Zings to draw, then use Yang Zings to
Special Summon a True King, netting Yang Zing
Special Summons off of the True King effects.
It is a great card for the archetype, the only
problem is that it is a Trap card and that is slow.

Advantage is advantage and this card can provide
a lot. This plus Drowning Mirror Force could make
for a huge swing. How? This Normal Trap Card can
send Wyrm-type monsters from your hand or Face-up
from your field to the grave to let you draw cards
equal to the number of sent monsters plus 1. So it
replaces itself and then clears your field so
Drowning Mirror Force can send opponent's monsters
back to the deck. Obviously, Drowning Mirror Force
isn't necessary, which is why this card scores well
on its own. There is another free effect of this
card, but you can only activate one of them and the
second one seems way better to me. However, if you
know what Wyrm-type monster you need, you can search
it from the deck to the hand. Versatility is good
and it's chainable so go for it in any Wyrm deck.
Score: 3.5/5 A bit slow and only works with Wyrms
but still good.
Art: 4/5 Cool art with Cool name that will
unfortunately be changed.

Waterfall of Dragon Souls
Waterfall of Dragon Souls rounds out our week, and
it's a nice card that will see play in Yang Zing and
True King decks.
A normal trap card with two effects dependant on
your situation. Both pretty simple and a boon for
Wyrms. It's first effect is to add a Wyrm monster
from the deck to the hand, and it's second is to
send wyrm monsters from your hand and/or field to
the grave to draw cards equal to the same amount
plus one.
Easily splashable into Yang Zings for some heavy
draw power, and also into True Kings/Dracos when
they get released at the start of May. There's no
once per turn clause on the card so you're free to
add whatever Wyrm you need for the situation or just
ditch any unneeded Wyrm monsters to the grave for,
at the minimum, a quick and easy two cards.
