We finish this week off with more Dinosaur support
in Double Evolution Pill.
You can only use 1 Double Evolution Pill per turn,
but you'll only need 1 per turn. You can banish 1
Dinosaur and 1 non-Dinosaur from the GY to Summon a
Level 7+ Dino from the deck ignoring summoning
conditions. This is another great way to summon
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno, and it makes the
Evolzaurs, True Kings, and hand traps more useful in
the Dino deck.
The card is worth playing, as more ways to summon a
monster as good as Ultimate Conductor Tyranno is
worth having.

Rounding out the week is Double Evolution Pill, a
normal spell and another support card for Dinosaurs.
DEP is pretty simple, banish a dinosaur and any
non-dinosaur monster from your hand and/or grave,
then special summon a level 7 or higher dinosaur
from the deck, ignoring its summoning conditions.
And this is just silly support. Dinosaurs are really
good right now, either as True King or True Draco
hybrids. They're able to banish any used up Draco or
King and special summon Conductor Tyranno straight
out from the deck, rather than jumping through their
minor hoops to add him to the hand. That's about it
really, there're other options to go for, but Dino
decks only really have Tyranno as their high level
monster now.
Advanced 5/5 It's TOO good in dinosaur hybrids or in
pure. |

The first Evolution Pill back in '03 (I think) was a little
underwhelming. But damn, this one really steps
it up (at least it seems). Only 14 years
later. However, I will use this card as a
key example of how some cards are not as good as
they seem on the surface.
Banishing 2 monsters from graveyard is feasible (and ensures this
card is not a -1). However, this requirement
makes this card a dead draw early game (Especially
turn 1). As a result, you are not going to
want to run 2-3 of this card in a Dinosaur deck if
it's going to mean bricking opening hand.
Summoning LV7+ Dino from deck ignoring Summoning condition sounds
amazing. Three problems. One, what if
the Dino you really want to summon is a LV5 or 6?
Second, what if you draw the monsters before you
draw this card? Third, how many good LV7+
Dinosaurs are there? Not many.
Lastly, the OPT clause. I guess, it's important to prevent
loops. But if a player has the guts to run a
Dino deck, takes the risk of running giant boss
Dinos and has the graveyard fuel to do so, may as
well let them go all out.
Too much risk and work for something that may only turn out to be
a 1for1 (or a +1 at most).

Hello Pojo Fans,
Some Dino support at the end of the week in the form
of Double Evolution Pill.
Double Evolution Pill has the power to pull some
really strong Dinosaurs out of your deck. It has
those great words “ignoring its Summoning
conditions” attached to it, making it even better.
Level 7 or higher makes sense as most Dinosaurs are
Level 7 or higher that have the specific summoning
conditions attached. Two monsters this card
requires, so it's like you're doing a double tribute
anyways, but it's from the hand or grave. Banishing
both will activate any effects of monsters banished
this way, allowing for a combo to stack on top of
the summon. The only clause in this is that one of
the monsters has to be a non-Dinosaur. In dedicated
builds this will be a problem, but in the True King
Dino decks this just means banishing a Wyrm
alongside a Dinosaur. 12 Dinosaurs to choose from
for DEP to hit in the deck or hand, most notably
Dogoran, the Mad Flame Kaiju and Ultimate Conductor
Tyranno.
A decent card to experiment with, but I'm not sure
where it fits. True King Dinos would be able to use
it better than dedicated Dino users, however True
King Dinos work well enough at Special Summoning.
