Mystical Elf-
Mystical Elf is a mistake,
plain and simple. When you have Giant Soldiers of
Stone and Aqua Madoors rampant in the playing field,
the 800 ATK is only useful for avoiding trap holes
when you play it face up. If you intended to play
this card face up for attacking in the first place,
why not use something with the higher ATK? This card
is meant to be played face down like all the other
2000 def monsters and in this reviewer's opinion has
nothing on giant soldier of stone aqua madoor, or
even the capricious wall of dark illusions with its
nice effect.
Despite the cards that are
better than it, Mystical Elf's 2000 DEF is nothing
to laugh at; however, it should only be played when
you don't have a giant soldier of stone, aqua madoor,
or wall of dark illusion at your disposal.
